We worked with Folio years ago for the cabinets in our remodeled kitchen. Downsview cabinets are extremely high quality. Not at all cheap but you get what you pay for. Recently we worked with Erin, who owns Folio, to get some new cabinet fronts that we needed when we replaced our dishwasher. She was extremely competent and helpful. Again, not cheap but very high quality. A couple of days ago one of the cabinet pulls broke after many years of use. I contacted Erin and she replaced it without charge. She's terrific. If you want the best in cabinets, this is a great company to work with.

A GREAT EXPERIENCE We have had Downsview maple wood cabinets in our kitchen for 25 years. Both my wife and I do a lot of cooking and we have 3 grandchildren, who grew up visiting us on a regular basis. Needless to say, our kitchen receives a lot of hard use. People cannot believe our kitchen is 25 years old because the Downsview cabinets still look like new. Recently, we had to replace the two built-in German ovens, but I could not find ovens that would fit into the cabinet openings. I called Folio Design and spoke with Erin McGilvery to inquire about rebuilding the oven section of the cabinets. I did not expect that Downsview would be able to match the cabinets, but she said they probably would accommodate me. She then said we probably had European size ovens and that I was looking at American size ovens for replacements. Erin advised me to contact Pirch in San Diego and they could probably find European size ovens to fit. I was flabbergasted, here was a company, Folio Design, that could have made money replacing my cabinets, but instead Erin solved my problem and saved us money by sending me to Pirch. I believe my experience says a lot about the customer service, character, and integrity of Folio Design. Pirch was also a great company to do business with and they were able to find ovens that with only slight adjustment fit perfectly. I found Folio Design to be an honest company that cares about customers and has old fashioned values.

Love it here since moving from nyc. Great prices and customer service. No pressure kind of place just good furniture.
