We loved this campground. Though it’s not well signed you can get confused from the NP campground to this one. This one offers full hook up and th NP campground does not. On a hot day this makes absolutely the difference
The price was very good, 40$/day for full hook up. We found that spot were big and comfortable.
The front desk person was very proficient and nice, answering all of our questions.
The campground is very close to the dunes so take advantage of it and go in the morning when dunes are free of other visitors

The campground was clean and the host was friendly, but it was way too crowded with no privacy. Tent sites are limited and the ground in the RV area is too hard for tent stakes.
I ended up staying at Mesquite Spring campground about 50 minutes north, it was a much more peaceful and enjoyable spot. Be aware that Mesquite Spring campground is nearly 2000' higher in elevation so expect it to be 10 degrees or so cooler there - which can be a good or a bad thing depending on when you visit.

Death valley is amazing. The food in the restaurant is glorious. The shops are really cool. I'm in love with this place.

The campground hosts were very nice! They know DV well and gave ideas for places to visit too including stopping to see the Pup fish, which we probably might have otherwise missed! The campground itself had lots of ravens swooping about. We watched them attack a fellow campers table when they walked away for only a few minutes. Very annoying and they are protected animals in the NP. The RV parking is a gravel parking lot with sites very close and didn't seem to have hook-ups. Camping sites are very open so it's not a very private camping experience. There are picnic tables with each tent site and you'll be setting up on the sand (as it's near to the Sand Dunes), so a bit tricky to secure a tent. We used some rocks to help with that. There is also the option of walking to sites a bit back further in the sandy areas too, but there wasn't much privacy there either. We were glad to be there when it was basically empty of fellow campers, because it would have been too much if the place was busy. There is a General store and gas station at the entrance, and it's pricey, but it will meet your needs for items forgotten and snacks. Lots of souvenirs of Stovepipe too if you're interested. The store is not part of the NP campground but they welcome all passersby of course! There is a bathroom with flush toilets, a dish washing station, and we were told drinkable water at the campground. There is no hot water or showers at the campground, but there's a sign on the door that paid showers were available nearby. It was only $16 to camp, but we probably wouldn't choose to stay at this campground in the future. Texas Springs and Emigrant were better in our opinion.

You drive through Death Valley and you can hardly believe the sat nav that there is an RV space there. But actually, we reached 50 degrees. Reception very friendly, RV parking space very minimalist but apart from a pool, a restaurant and a store you don't need anything there - and that's what this one offers. Food in the restaurant was ?

Overall, a nice campsite with a pool that is open until midnight. Towels are available to dry off by the pool and even in the shower rooms. There is a restaurant and a saloon. Food is ok. Everyone is friendly. Everything is clean and well-kept, even if it is getting old.Restrooms: Clean and groomed.

We stayed in a full hook up site in our trailer for 3 days. The water pressure is about 20 lbs. Make sure your water pump is working if you want at least 40 lbs pressure. The RV park is nice. The spaces and hook ups are great. Make sure you have reservations prior to coming. The full hookup sites seem to go quick.

Stayed in their large rv lot. No hookups, but it accomodated our 38ft fifth wheel. Rest rooms available. Very helpful camp hosts. Nice desert setting. Near gas station and 2 restaurants.

This campground is in the center of Death Valley, next to Sand Dune and Mosaic Canyon, with shops and restaurants next to it, and the location is very convenient. This is a place where RVs and tents can stay, and there are restrooms and flush toilets. There is also a sink outside the restroom. The worse points are:1. On windy days, the wind and sand here are very strong, and the sand dune next to it can stir up a lot of dust.2. This campground is very large, which makes the place very messy and dirty. The restrooms and sinks are a bit messy. In addition, many people who come here do not pay much attention to quality. The RV started beeping at five o'clock in the morning and it kept ringing for a long time. There are people chatting and drinking loudly at night, and the headlights of the cars driving back at night will shine on your tent from a distance. There is no good place to rest.

A beautiful spot for a night under the stars. I was here right before they closed for the season, so it was not busy. I enjoyed having the bathroom facilities here. I might try to stay at Emigrant Campground next time. However, this is there and safe and that is good to know! And it has restroom facilities... (Emigrant Camp does not)
