This is about the Shell gas station in front of the Loop market on 1944 Covell. I strongly advise you to never use this gas station. Many of the pumps are broken. And the employees do not speak enough English for them to even understand this when you tell them about it. A complete waste of my time. But I will not be spending another cent here ever again.

The pumps sometimes malfunction so don't stop here if in a hurry. The car wash is a ripoff!! Only after paying for the wash do you realize THE DRYERS ARE BROKEN!!! You must dry it by hand with paper towels!!!!! And it doesn't totally rinse your vehicle. I give the car wash and -10!!

I HIGHLY advise that you do not fill up your gas here. As a student, I fill up 1 or 2 gallons here whenever I can afford it and usually have no issue. Today, I filled up 1 gallon and both my digital gas range indicator and analog gas volume meter did not change. I drove back to ask if there was an issue with the pump or if I could receive a refund or replacement but was instead met with rudeness and gaslighting about my experience by who I believed to be the manager.

!!!!!They have a cashier with red hair… She is very rude and racist !!! very unprofessional and lack of customer service skills. They need to hire people that can work with a multi cultural community. this girl has no education no manners very rude specially with people of other cultures. I seen her in several ocasiones treating them like she barely hear them and ignores them when they asking questions.Hate this place ?????

If I can give a 0 star I would. I ended up paying $350 for a paint correction after I washed my car here. This is my car after the car wash. God knows what detergent they used. It left water spots all over my car. I tried to wipe it off with different glass cleaners but it just didn’t work.

The carwash here is not worth the cost! Don't waste your money as for $2.50 you can do a better job down the street with the self service carwash in less time. And why does it stink so bad in the carwash? Why no soap? I could of of sprayed my car off with water and been happier!!! There are hole in the wall gas stations with better washes!

I came and paid for the $14 car wash with some gas and the car wash was mostly water and barely any ************ include all of the services advertised. After the wash I come in and inform the clerk Id like a refund and the owner approached me who is a male and Im a female. He takes my receipt and tell me he needs to verify my wash on camera? Has me waiting for about 10 mins at the front camera and comes back and is close to me in my face trying to engage in an argument and stated I was lying and nothing is wrong with the car wash. I was calm and said sir why are you arguing with me about a car wash? Im not raising my voice at you, if youre going to give the refund then do that, Im not going to argue. He then tells me hed refund my money, but Im not allowed to get my car wash there ever again. OK thats fine since clearly thats the reason I asked for a refund right? Was due to false advertising. He was so defensive and called me a liar when clearly when he returned he verbally stated he seen a little soap dispense, I dont understand men who try to belittle or get confrontational with women and me being a customer not satisfied with the services not being rendered.

He then tells me he'd refund my money, but I'm not allowed to get my car wash there ever again. OK that's fine since clearly that's the reason I asked for a refund right? It was a crazy experience he was so defensive and called me a liar when clearly when he returned he verbally stated he seen a "little soap" dispense, I don't understand men who try to belittle or get confrontational with women. I honestly feel bad for his wife or if he has girls because that was a lot and it was over something small like a car wash. Lol whew update ** I read on yelp that customers have been experiencing the same treatment which the owner needs to be held accountable, that's not acceptable so I filed 2 complaints on the BBB and contacted Shell Corporate as well. It's really simple; provide the services and you cannot become upset and belittling when the customer isn't receiving the services and wants a refund that's mind boggling to me that someone could have a mindset like that.

This place is the epitome of poor service. I wanted to use the vacuum outside. I did not like the look of the slide credit card device outside. Too easy to put one of those copycat devices in, on or close by. I went in to get change for the quarter machine. The guy said he couldn't give me six quarters; thus forcing me to use the slide credit card machine, which didn't work anyway. I am not ever going back to this sketchy scam "Shell" game.

Be careful and refuse the LoopBack rewards program they are pushing on all their customers. They take in a lot of your information that can end up in the hands of identity thieves. Soon after signing up I started receiving text messages for fraudulent bank accounts were being placed on hold need and required my urgent attention. I strongly suggest if anyone does get gas here, just pay with cash to avoid the possibility of having your identity stolen.
