First off they never have anything in this store. You walk in there and it looks like the apocalypse. Secondly I went there yesterday at 10:46 and they were closing the doors and locking up. They don’t close until 11. Third their staff is unhelpful and rude.

Had absolutely nothing in stock on the shelves, and I mean NOTHING. It seems like it's been this way for a while and doesn't seem like it's gonna change anytime soon

I have been getting my medicines at this pharmacy for 6 years;I went in yesterday and was the only customer at the pharmacy at that time.
I went to the Drop Off window and attempted to ask for a refill of two of my medicines.
There were two women behind the counter along with the Pharmacist. The two women treated me like I didn't matter so I asked if the one woman employee could actually come to the window so I could better communicate with her;then both women looked at me,then looked at each other and didn't say anything any more. I felt like they were just too busy and wanted me to Go Away.
The pharmacist finally came to the window in a rude manner and asked me what I wanted;I explained the other employees were just rude to me.
He told me "we won't speak about that,what do you want? " ?? !!
I then gave him the information about my refills and left feeling insulted by all of them toward me.
I was the only person at the pharmacy at that time so no one else saw how they treated me;I decided to leave an honest review of the way they disrespected me. RUDE !
edit: to 'response from owner' Why should I get in touch with the Rite Aid customer care,for what purpose ?
The reason I wrote this review is for the owner to better train your employees to Care for their customers. A 'word to the wise'.

I trusted this pharmacy professionalism for 8 years but recently I had a very bad experience , my doctor's prescription was 4 medecine one of them is refill .
When I went to.pharmacy they told me that only two medecines but I insisted that it is four so they gave me four medecines but I never checked because I trust them .
I realized that they didn't have me refill that was prescribed to me on 21 April for.my.blood pressure medecine so I waited till.my medical place informed me that they prescribed refill for.blood pressure.
So I called the pharmacy and the doctor said that they gave it to me but that is not true I never get any refill for two.months from the pharmacy and he spoke to.me.in a very bad way and told me go let your doctor to refill again .and they refused to acknowledge their.mistake .
Iso.really I had to write a review to let everyone to check their medecines their doctor prescribed and to check them.again and match it with what they pick up from.pharmacy and be sure it is the same .
I.was.disappointed because for 5 years me and my family always trusted the pharmacy but recently was very unprofessional and never acknowledged their mistakes.
Also I will check.my.medecines from.my.doctor and match it with the picked up medecine from the pharmacy medecine.
Because know I have to wait for another appointment for.month to.have my.refill again because of the pharmacy
and because I gave them the trust and the pharmacy concerned mistake.
Please monitor the concerned who work in the pharmacy who are responsible and let us to have have a chance to write survey and be send to management to be easily performance because that is our.lives and health and it is a great responsibility. we always trust rite aid for years .

Today on 5/17/24 the shelves were just about as empty as when I visited Rite Aid on 4/24/24 and 5/2/24. On 4/24 I ended up buying allergy medication from CVS. On 5/17/24 I find another deplorable situation on the shelves of bankrupt Rite Aid. This time I took a photo of the skin cream shelves. Similar condition on 5/17 as the allergy medication shelves on 4/24, just with the skin care section. BTW, the allergy medication shelves are still depleted. If it was not so cumbersome to transfer my 17 prescriptions over to CVS I would have decided to do so by now and stopped going to Rite Aid altogether. If this trend continues you can expect Rite Aid not to be able restock their shelves for the foreseeable future. I suggest taking your business to CVS, Target, Walmart or a locally owned pharmacy. I use the Dixon Walmart Supercenter for my OTC needs now.

the pharmacy its not prompt about answering phone calls. I have been left on hold for great lengths of time no matter what tone I call the pharmacy. Also they did not give me all the medication my doctor had prescribed me resulting in me having to call over and over again.

This Rite-Aid is truly garbage. Literally 5 times now that I’ve needed allergy medicine, dayquil, etc they’re completely 100% out (branded or generic versions). Shelves are half empty most the time for vitamins, sunscreen, etc essentialsWhoever’s in charge of ordering items needs to get fired. How hard is it to stock things correctly? It’s beyond frustrating.

Worst pharmacy in Davis. I ordered a refill for my prescription of insulin a week ago. They still haven't filled it. That is negligence, don't get your prescriptions here. Have tried 3 tines to get the correct glucose test strip prescription at this rite aid, and not once have they sent the correct one. Rite Aid closed the wrong Davis site. If you want to be a short hours 7-11 by campus, do that. Don't compromise people's health with a terrible pharmacy.

Awful service at their pharmacy and very rude response when I was asked why my medication was taking long after I called and was told it was ready. One of their employees laughed, very unprofessional.

I've been their pharmacy customer for over 2 decades. There have essentially never been problems getting my medications filled reliably even though I take at least 8, one of which is a controlled substance, and one of which is so rare they wouldn't otherwise have it in stock. They almost always answer their phones. When there is a problem, they use knowledge and compassion to help solve it. When I request refills of medications in person or request that they be filled quickly, the prescriptions are ready in about 10 min.
