No matter what-- get an appointment ! (Yes, even if only picking up gear for collecting urine, at home---or returning the specimen) No appt? You'll wait like I did. Yesterday it was 33 mins. NOTE: In the kiosk where we sign in, there's a small box (upper right hand corner) for "help" -- click on "leaving specimen only"-- and that "may" hasten things. PS: It's crazy to waste an appt slot on a simple lab pick up or drop off.NOTE: Appreciate fact that Quest has moved into this shopping center (with Safeway, Big 5, etc)

Clean facility, kind and efficient phlebotomists. My appointment was at 10:20, I was in and out before 10:12. Excellent experience

I just had the worst experience with having my blood drawn. Brandon asked me which arm was the better arm to draw from, when I told him he would have to most like have to take blood from my hand. He musta taken this as challenge, cause he proceeded to try and blood from the arm I said was the worst one. Then he tries my other arm and leaves the tourniquet on for 3 complete minutes while I was in pain. He did not listen to his patient or take my comfort in consideration. I will never go back there

Very good experience here! Clarice is a very kind positive employee and is very good at drawing blood. Thank you Clarice!

this is a monopoly business. they love our money but can't even have customer service. In this dirty business nobody helps you and they don't even have a telephone customer service. It's insulting to have to pay these types of companies.

They moved to Covell, as some other people pointed out! I've had a bad experience here (had an electronic version of my lab orders instead of it printed, which has never been an issue at Quest before, and instead of trying to work with me or at least be nice about it, the lady basically told me to get lost). But it's the only Quest in Davis so where else are you going to go? At least there's a Safeway next door.

Horrible service, no one to help answer any questions, only a check in touch screen that provides very little assistance. I even saw a woman bring her pet dog into the blood drawing area, how is this at all acceptable? Save yourself the frustration and don't go here.

Automated sign in does not walk you through options clearly, especially sample drop off is unclear how to select. Anything other than routine sign in is a challenge, impersonal with no people available to talk to or ask for help.

I’d give Quest, as a whole, zero stars if possible. This particular location has NO assistance for those who are disabled. They have computer screens for you to “check in” at and offer no assistance. If you’re dropping off a test, you have to wait +30mins. If you are picking up a test, you have to wait +30mins. If you are doing any other tests in lab, you have to wait +1hr. Absolutely ridiculous and incredibly frustrating to watch patients struggle to sign in due to not understand how to even use electronics/touch screens. Absolutely would choose ANY OTHER MEDICAL LAB.

Wonderful staff and welcoming attitude. My son came early for his appointment and was accommodated immediately so that he could get back to school. This location is top rated!

There was nobody waiting when I came in to get bloodwork done. Website and automated phone number said this location was open for walk-ins with a 3 minute wait. I was told after checking in that they wouldn't help me because I didn't have an appointment and that every quest location now requires appointments. Why on Earth wouldn't they update their website and automated phone messages BEFORE implementing this change and turning people away?

They moved to Covell for those who do walk in. One star because the new building is NOT deaf friendly. I had to walk around trying to figure HOW to reach to a person. There's no one at the front desk, let alone no front desk at all.None at all. Deaf people, do not go to this location next to Banfield.

After having a not-so-pleasant experience at Quest Diagnostics in Vacaville, I decided to have my blood work done at Quest Diagnostics in Davis.Since we are still living in COVID-19 land, you will have to make an appointment in advance if you need to have any kind of lab work at any of the Quest Diagnostics locations. So go on their website and book your appointment before heading directly to a Quest location.Upon arriving, I didn't see anyone at the front window. The waiting room is quite small compared to some of the other Quest locations I've been to. Seating is very limited, so be prepared to stand inside with your mark on or wait outside. There is a kiosk thing where you can check in, so you don't necessarily need to interact with a person unless you have questions. When the woman finally returned to the desk, it was quite apparent that she wasn't in a good mood due to being busy (which is understandable). She did, however, answer my question and took my paperwork without any hassle or being rude to me.The phlebotomist that drew my blood was actually quite nice, despite the busy day. He was very friendly and talked with me during most of my stay there. He was very attentive and didn't miss any of the labs my physician ordered either (unlike my experience at Quest in Vacaville, when it was nowhere near being busy as this Davis location).Four out of five stars.

Me and my 9 year old daughter had a blood work on Tuesday June 8, 2021 at 12:45 on this location . The first person tried to draw blood but failed to do so. It was pain searching for the vein while the needle is still in the arm. So, she called another person to try. The second person tried on the other arm and this time she was able to draw some however she said "sorry" and dumpEd her blood in the garbage. I felt my child was not treated by professionals or experienced workers. Her arms were hurting. I felt like they both are on training and we refused to pock on third spot so we walked out. Would You please flow up those workers or give them a training to serve well. I will be considering to find another lab next time.
