extremely poor customer service resulting in the untimely cancelation of the insurance policy. Long waits beyond acceptable underwriting times and excuses with no results. Business needs a shake-up.

The representative from Purves & Associates Insurance Agency, Atlanta P. was extremely helpful in letting choose the policies towards my new home. The prices are fair and allowed for more options to customize the policies. She provided a lot of information and instructions in a clear and concise manner that is easy to read and understand. I began the process of looking for an insurance carrier for my new small business with Purves. As a new business owner I did not know how long finding a policy would take. After nearly 2.5 months of radio silence from them, waiting on a policy after an initial consultation after speaking with their head of small businesses, I contacted them to see where we were in the process. It took a week after this to respond and they still had not secured a policy. During this time I found another insurance agent, John Bradford in Sacramento, who found our business a policy in one week. One week! Our business did not seem to be a priority for Purves which is a shame as I also use them for car insurance and those agents have been great.

Maria Fuoco has been amazing to work with! I run a nonprofit and was having trouble answering a lot of the required questions to get insured as my business does not fit easily into a box. Maria spent so much time with me, helping me navigate the best avenue and provide me the best policy for my needs. Purves & Associates Insurance Agency has been a valuable partner with Preparative Consulting for many years. We have found all of the team members to be professional, curious, and responsive to our needs. As an Emergency Management consulting business, our clients are often Federal, State, County, and Municipal agencies or special districts. Their insurance requirements can be complicated and I can always rely on the Purves & Associates team to help me successfully meet these requirements. I would also like to personally recognize our Account Manager, Maria Fuoco. Maria is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and has helped us through some very complex insurance requirements from our clients. Maria is very professional, experienced, and responsive. She frequently responds to our questions or policy needs with a resolution, the same day. My realtor in Sacramento referred me to Purves & Associates for a homeowner's policy quote on an older home, and Atlanta Parrott, their New Businsess Manager, was very responsive and helpful. She returned my call the same day, and provided a quote within 24 hours. Ms. Parrott ended up saving me between $100-$200 from quotes I obtained from my auto insurer and AARP. She worked well with my loan officer in coordinating the insurance policy issuance in a timely matter for a quick close of escrow.
