Sales clerks are extremely rude not a nice place to go

Extremely disappointed with the grooming services at Petco. For the first two visits, I was charged $45 (without tips) for my adult-sized dog, which seemed reasonable. However, starting from the third visit, the groomer Natalie began to silently changed my dog's size classification to large, resulting in higher charges. She did not inform me of this price change when I received the receipt.
It wasn't until my sixth visit that I realized they had been overcharging me without any notice. When I confronted them, another groomer, who claimed to be new, said the reason for the higher charge was that my dog was "extra difficult to handle." This explanation was absurd, considering my dog was handled just fine during the first two visits. The groomer admitted that the initial charges were lower because the staff were new and didn’t know how to "charge based on different dogs," essentially admitting they were learning to overcharge customers.
The manager also blamed me for not checking the price before paying, even though they never informed me of the change. It's their responsibility to notify customers about any price changes, not to quietly overcharge. This place is just RIDICULOUS.

I would give petco grooming 10 stars if i could. NATALIE!!! is your doodle hairgirl. First off- Natalie is so sweet and friendly! I love her energy & personality she's truly a gem. She knows exactly what to do and is so detailed in what she offers. She also made sure i got the discounts available with vital care perks. Her service is great, her energy is awesome, and her care/love for the pups radiate in our interaction. My dog went in shaky because she doesn't like grooming but she came out so happy and GORGEOUS. The full groom/cut is definitely on the pricier side, but I think I found my place. It's the best cut hodu has gotten EVER. The package upgrade is inclusive of most service options (nail buffing, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, etc) that other places have offered individually as add-ons for more $$. I dropped my dog off for about 4-5 hours and was really pleased with the results! Natalie is definitely a popular groomer so it's best to book in advance. Also, she added the cutest st patrick accessories ever... i'm in love & very happy!

This place sucks by far. Groomer is very proud about how terrible her customer service is, and she lumped her manger Corey in there too. Please do not come to grooming. They will complain they have no help, no phone line, and that they don’t care that they haven’t answered your phone. Groomer is by far rude, and kept making these huffing and puffing sounds very upset she was busy. Imagine how she is with your animals. I understand it’s busy times, but there is a way you talk to people/ express your stress and anger better. This groomer had no control over her stress/ anger during work. Cory is the manger at this store.I wish there was a way they could retrain/ hire all new staff because it seems like it’s the same staff for years now and they despise there job.

Selection is good, but staff is extremely rude. I shop here often and I have not yet found one employee who does not behave like they absolutely despise their job and cannot stand customers. Very unpleasant experience and extremely unprofessional behavior.
