An update to my March 2023 review of L&H Auto. There is a reason I continue to drive from Oakland to Davis, CA (where L&H is located) for service on my beautiful 2006 325i BMW. Simply put, Sal, the owner is a "master mechanic" extraordinaire. As his customers know, Sal can "fix anything" - he is a highly skilled and creative mechanic who always solves the problem in a timely and cost effective manner! As a woman, I trust Sal completely, because as I've written before, he is intelligent, kind and fair, and the "consummate auto mechanic and professional". Many thanks, Elizabeth S.

I bought a 2017 Mazda3 from here within KBB range. They fixed a couple things that I noticed could be an issue, and gave me 2 discounted new tires. They also let me take the car to get a pre-purchase inspection. I received the registration and title within the mail less than two weeks after and haven't had any mechanical issues with the car at all! Really pleased with it. Thanks Kira!Update: the car only came with 1 license plate but was an easy fix through the online DMV. Also they have been very responsive and answered any questions I had after I already purchased the car. They even reached out to make sure I received the registration and title. Highly recommend them but still recommend getting the car checked out first

I bought a car from this place recently. They didn't take the time and check the car that we put $3000 for. This was my first experienced in buying a car and it has turned into a absolute nightmare and waste of time. I struggle as it is but now I have a car that's requires thousands to fix. I bought the car a few months ago, was told it had been maintenanced before buying but after checking it myself (I grew up around cars so I'm not oblivious) and taking it to a renowned mechanic, the car hadn't been maintenanced before selling, the tires hadn't even been replaced. The check engine light had popped up not too long after buying, keep in mind i barely drove the car since I had stopped working. Took it in to have all fluids changed, oil filter and air filter changed, about +$350. Another week passed and light popped back on, coded it myself and the intake valves popped up. Turned out it had a bad sensor and that turned into a leaking head gasket. +$1500, out the window. As they are replacing the head gasket they notice that the engine is literally deteriorating and flaking off from the inside. Now it requires a total engine replacement. This car turned into a disappointment and a waste of money.. Ive put more money into fixing the car than actually paying it off. I've only had it for a few months and completely regret buying from this dealership.

Bought a 2016 Honda Fit below blue book value. They were all very nice and helpful but not pushy.Everything I found wrong with car was fixed and personally delivered to my house the next day, including 2 slightly worn tires and they replaced all four. Would highly recommend L& H Wholesale Cars
