I lived here with some housemates for two years coming out of COVID remote learning. My apartment was very clean and well taken care of upon moving in. When I had issues, I was able to reach out to Nico and the maintenance team, who took care of them fairly quickly. This included some noise complaints about neighbors, a leaking window during rainy season, and miscellaneous house repairs, smoke detector batteries, etc. Never tried too many of the amenities outside of the apartment, but the laundry and parking can get crowded at times simply due to the number of students living here. Wifi looks slow but was great for me - I actually found that I didn't need the high-speed plan I ended up paying for because the provided Wifi network was enough for me. Other than that, it's a nice quiet place to get some work done with a handful of parties here and there as you might expect from college living. For the most part, the problems I had when I was living here were independent from the FC staff. They did a great job attending to any problems and being available otherwise.

Absolute mess of a process to get a lease. They claim to have it be "first come first serve" but completely unfair at the same time. Many people signed up before the leasing office even opened and their was practically no communication from management. I guess it was a good thing I didn't end up living here.

I lived here after dorming for three years (2018-2021) and loved it here! Convenient location, reasonably priced, and great maintenance! All issues were always fixed promptly and having the bus stop right outside the complex was very convenient!

I lived in Fountain Circle for 3 years, and never had a problem. I absolutely loved living here. Not only are the apartments nice and spacious, but the staff are super friendly. Also, the maintenance crew are really quick with work orders. They held BBQs, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. events every year. Additionally, the location is very ideal for a college student. It's super close to Safeway, Panda, and Gong Cha. It's about a 10 minute bus ride to campus. The buses are very frequent as well, usually every ten minutes. However, they do get packed at certain times.Trust me there are cons such as finding parking (which was always a struggle) and prices do get pricier as the years go. Despite that, I highly recommend living here.

most of the nights around mid night a group of people get out of there apartment, they are screaming and smoking drugs. There is no regulation to control the condition and lack of discipline and quietness is the biggest problem for me as a resident. I recorded a quick video from tonight's situation next to my apartment. The time is now 12:44am, and noise is going on without paying attention that others also have rights to live calm. The weather is too hot in Davis and it is expensive to turn of the AC as well. Every night cause of the noice and smoke of the drug, I have to close the window.Just imagine how a hell looks like.

Lived here for 3 yrs, never had a problem with the apartment. Maintenance are super friendly and quick to fix any problems. Wished there were more parking spots because after 11pm, it's already at full capacity. Safeway is a walk away. Rent has been increasing for new renters. Next to bus stop. Great club house study space.

Where to start, i guess ill start with good. The town homes are nice and feel homey, they are not too cramped and feel spacious. The study rooms were an added bonus that are basically the size of a bedroom. Overall for the actual town home there isn't much to be disappointed about considering they are actually nice. As for the bad, first of all how much time y'all got? The management is a bit rude and will take ages to come fix something if they do come at all. We complained about damages to a mirror upon doing the moving in checklist, and management never came all year despite requests to fix it. The pool is tiny and despite this i decided to lounge poolside on a lawn chair and was asked to put a towel under myself by management in order to not dirty it (presumably because they do not clean it often). Likewise, the pool itself did not appear to be regularly cleaned. There management can be nice at times, but as aforementioned they can be rude or even passive aggressive. Overall, FC is a nice place if you go into your townhome and don't interact much with the facilities (tiny gym, tiny pool, sometimes rude management) then you will enjoy your stay.

I lived in Fountain circle for one year with two roommate. The living experience was good but this is about your deposit money. YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK AT ALL. We paid $266 each person and got back $90 although we have taken care of our apartment more than we would of our own home. We didn't cause any damage or anything else. They LITERALLY USE YOU MONEY TO REPAINT AND CLEAN THEIR UNITS FOR THE NEXT TENANTS.!!! So please do not expect your deposit back and don't even care to keep it clean as that won't help ..haha..keep it clean if you want to not for the deposit money.

I lived at FC for 2 years and I was actually really sad to leave last year! FC is kinda on the pricier side, but it's not too bad if you have a lot of people to live with because it divides pretty well. Their apartments are also HUGE! APARTMENTS - They have 1 bed/bath studio apartments, 2-3-4 bedroom townhouses with 2 baths i believe. I lived in a 4 bed/2 full bath. 1 master bed/bath downstairs and 3 bed 1 bath upstairs. There is also a study lounge/room/loft upstairs thats big enough to serve as a room. In our apartment, the open space got sealed off and a door was added so it was literally a closed room with no window (apparently this reconstruction was done by previous tenants). However, in other apartments, it's an open loft. The upstairs bathroom is separated in three sections: toilet, 2 sinks, and a shower. Perfect for sharing among many, since everyone can do their own thing. Living room was huge, kitchen was kinda small in my opinion for such a big space. The apartments have open front patios. MANAGEMENT - I love Meredith! She might seem like she has a resting b**** face or is always angry about something which I hear a lot, but if you are nice to her and just talk to her she is very nice. She remembers her residents and she hosts random nights where she cooks food for her all her tenants. For example, summer bbqs, winter chili, small Thanksgiving (pastas etc), quesadillas during finals week. I personally think that is really sweet for her to organize something like that because she is in no way obligated to provide any such events like that. CLUBHOUSE - It's 24 hour and air conditioned! I know a bunch of people non-FC tenants, myself included, that still go to this clubhouse to study. There's large tables, computers with printers/scanner/copier (just bring the paper), a closed study room with a big whiteboard, a full kitchen, a flat screen TV with cable, and a small gym. There's also a community laundry room and pool/spa (kinda small though). My only gripe - PARKING. They do have a lot of parking spots, there's just a lot of people living in FC in general and so many people have cars. You might end up parking across the complex from your apartment or the lot becomes full at like 11pm and after and you have to park on the street. But it's understandable.

If I could give zero stars I would. The guy that "cleans" the washer machines does a really horrible job. I have no idea why he even bothers with cleaning it since all he does is close the machines after he does, so the disgusting smell can seep through the entire machine. I open every single door but he still decides to close them right after I do. Very rude! He uses Windex! And other chemicals that I would NOT like to have on my skin. The management only let's us use a tablespoon of detergent the explanation: the machines will overflow, and other people have sensitive skin. Maybe your "cleaning" guy shouldn't use chemicals to clean the washers? They're a lot of eco friendly cleaners that would just make more sense. I would just like to go to the wash room and clean my clothes, not make them stink. Please talk to this guy!

I saw Bri S.'s review and I had to leave one of my own. I have been at The FC for 3 years now and I LOVE living here. The maintenance is fast and takes the time to explain things to us if we ask and management is always helpful and attentive when I have had a problem. The pool is small but anything will do when it is 100+ outside. I would not say the washing machines/laundry room is filthy and I sometimes do laundry in the morning and I have seem maintenance cleaning the machines and I have never had a problem with my clothes after using a machine. I have had the machine eat some quarters which management promptly reimbursed me for. I do wish there were a few more machines because they do have a lot of people who use them. I have also had neighbors partying into the early hours but we are college students and it will happen... i mean come on... most of the time we just talked to our neighbors and they were understanding (especially during finals they were done and celebrating and I had two more to go). Yikes! All in all I would give The FC a solid 4 stars as no matter where you live there will always be problems or things you would change but the FC at least cares about us and tries to help as much as they can. OH, and the new computers, printer and study room are AMAZING!!!
