One of the best apartment complexes I've ever lived in. Management is spectacular, maintenance is quick to fix any issues so long as they're made aware of them. Chris is especially one of the best in the business and has made the last few years such a smooth and enjoyable experience. His helpfulness (along with the rest of the staff) is the biggest reason I renewed for another year. This place is worth your time and they will help you out! If you have any prior apartment experience you'll definitely appreciate living here!

One of the worst apartment complexes I've lived in throughout my college career. The apartment was not cleaned when we moved in, the carpets were sticky and we found toenails in the drawers. They made us wait a week to move in to "clean" but never cleaned. Since the manager lives on site, he constantly goes home and closes the office at random times of the day when I needed to refill my laundry card or turn in papers to him. There was a random power outage in the office so we couldn't do laundry for a week. However, the apartments power was fine and his computer in the office somehow still worked? Please avoid at all costs, the manager is a good guy but not cut out for this business.

I absolutely love these apartments/townhomes & have lived here for 5 years. The review before mine in 100% false and actually really unfair to say of the manager living on site. He has gone out of his way multiple times to help my family & I with things. He's emailed me back at all hours of the day, always been extremely communicative and professional in every sense. I'd also like to comment of the previous reviews statement regarding him closing the office at random times? That's an absolute lie. How about consider that he works 8:30-5:30 by himself (only has a leasing agent on Fridays) and takes an hour lunch, like most other jobs. Is he not supposed to take lunch breaks? I see him everywhere.. giving tours, helping the maintenance guys outside, fixing the pool, etc. I really feel like I must defend him because he's completely fit for the job in every way. He's a great guy and has always done his job extremely well. He's been amazing to me and my family and I've loved living here for all these years. Apart from the awesome manager, we have a pool (which I appreciate being closed right now due to Covid & them taking proper precautions), it's in a great location (we have the cutest market literally feet away, right across the street for last minute dinner needs) & it's honestly the friendliest community. We have a 2bedroom townhouse and have grown to love our home so much. It's a small, 40unit property where if you talk to your neighbors and the people that work there and get to know the area, it's really impossible not to love. Here's to another year at EastLake!

I lived at Eastlake Apartments when I was an undergrad at UC Davis for 2.5 years. I had a very good experience living here. I highly recommend renting here if you are a college student. They have lower rates than other apartments in Davis because they are in the west side of town. Although it is further from campus, Eastlake comes with great amenities such as proximity to bus stops and a nearby shopping plaza. The staff is very fair and compassionate people; they work with you and explain things. One person I held in high esteem was the groundskeeper John Shiner. He helped us with maintenance requests quickly and effectively. He once came late at night (11pm) to fix our water heater in the middle of the winter. He made my experience living at Eastlake better. The office (Nadia and Chris) are wonderful, friendly people. They are very accessible and are always willing to work with you to make sure you have a great rental experience here.

I'd give this place zero stars if l could lol. Well first off, we summer leased, meaning that we only were there for the summer sessions and we only had to pay a small portion of rent. The girls who leased the townhouse to us lied about how much it was going to cost to live here. Then management every month would hassle us about the $2250 we owed, when that's not what we were told we had to pay when we moved in. Place was nasty when we moved in. This is where my zero stars come in. When we all paid our rent (how much we were told we had to pay by previous tenants) management tried to say we never turned in any checks, which resulted in a 30 day notice. Fuck this place haha.

West Davis overall is a pretty quiet place to live. Although I'm only spending two months here, I've got not complaints about Eastlake. The office ladies are super nice and the free printing in the lounge is useful. One thing I wish they had was a washing machine inside the apartments, but it's only a minor inconvenience. One odd feature here is the multitude of front doors. I'm living in a 3BR apt and we have, get this, 3 front doors. It's a little awkward, but I guess you can call it extra privacy? I really like the ambiance of the townhouses and it might just be my imagination, but mine gives off a woodsy smell/feeling.

I've only been here a couple of weeks, but management have been incredibly helpful and accommodating. My apartment is also larger and nicer than I imagined (I did not get to view it before I arrived in Davis). Very happy here so far, everyone seems lovely and the place is quiet!

They may have went through a rough patch with managers, but I am happy here and have been for the last 2 years. They have an organized manager and staff that knows what they are doing. The grounds are cleaning and is only about a 10 minute bike ride to UC Davis. You can always ride the unitrans which they are close to! I would rather get some exercise though! :) The complex is quiet! I would rather have landscapers than parties keeping me up til all hours of the night! I love this place!
