I broke down in Davis 90 minutes from home and Davis Import Auto Service was able to get my car in right away to diagnose my car. A couple hours after having it towed, they called to let me know what was wrong with the car. I had to have my husband come retrieve me but my car was fixed the next day. Megan was super friendly and understanding which helped to calm my fear of being stranded. My car runs great and i highly recommend them to anyone local?

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Will get car fixed within a day after scheduling. Pricing is also very fair and reasonable, labor costs are relative to complexity of work done and parts are fairly priced. No problems arose after receiving vehicle back and they also include a curtesy inspection. Overall very professional and helpful to my vehicles needs. Will certainly be coming back in the future for repairs.

I brought in my car due to an oil leak. They identified the problem then sent me home with the car for a week while they waited in parts to come in. I brought the car back in a week later (on a Tuesday). They estimated it would be done by Thursday. Original estimate was $1300.They called me the next day saying they found additional issues with the car and that it would now be $2300. These issues were reasonable, so I let them go ahead with the fixes. Their new time estimate was Friday.Friday comes and I haven't heard anything. I call the shop and they say that they're still waiting on a part and it would be ready Monday morning, but that they'd call Monday morning when it's done. That's fine, not their fault. Monday comes around and I haven't heard anything. I call and they say that the part just got in and that they'll finish it up that night so I can pick it up Tuesday morning, but that once again, they'd call me. Tuesday morning rolls around and I haven't heard anything. I call them Tuesday afternoon and they say that they got delayed and that their technician will stay late to work on it. They told me to meet them at the shop at 6 which is when it will be ready, and if it won't be ready by then, they'd call me to let me know. I show up at 6, and the car is not ready yet. They said they have to refill the oil and coolant then it'd be ready to go (only a couple of minutes). I sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes waiting on the car. I appreciate staying late to finish it up, but the lack of care and respect they put on my time left a bad taste in my mouth. If they would've called and told me to pick it up later or even the next day, I'd have no problem. Overall, they were friendly and the work was done well, but I will not be coming back.

What a wonderful first experience with them! Was looking for an alternative to the hell hole that is Hanlees, and gave Davis Auto Imports a try. Super friendly, available, decent prices and no feeling I'm being taken advantage of. Thank you, and will be back!

I called for a last minute oil change before our trip and they truly went above and beyond their duties to get me in. Thank you to the owner and Meagan for quickly putting me back on the road. They are friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them and will surely come back for any service or repairs my Volkswagen Atlas needs.

Great honest service. They worked for two days trying to diagnose a difficult issue. Unfortunately I needed to take it to the dealership for further diagnosis, but Davis Import didn't charge me a dime. Megan and the rest of the team are kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
