A great place to get a decent beer and relax, and one of the two left in Davis that still carry liter size mugs - but you gotta ask for it (: I'd like to see a better assortment of not-IPAs and hopefully the wave is going to be turning soon

Much better places in Davis.
They didn’t let me buy a beer because of my Canadian driver’s licence. I was 23, and it was my birthday :(… I had a photo of my passport that they wouldn’t look at.
Then my friend offered me some of his and the workers came up and threatened to kick all of us off their patio if they saw me drinking.
Really ruined the night for us.

Best relaxing place to grab a beer or cider. They even got cans in the back you can drink or take home! Inside and outside seating area. Good prices. Good vibes.

Happy hour from opening to 4pm. Good beer on tap for a good price. Also an excellent selection of bottles and cans, and you can pay a dollar or two more to drink the bottle/can you bought there in the store. I'm visiting from out of town but you can tell - this where the true craft beer lovers come to enjoy beers in Davis.

Not a pub. Sells only beer on tap to enjoy on the premise or in bottles to take home. American and Euro centric with many fewer choices from other parts of the world. Cozy, cool place from the heat to enjoy a pint.

I went to this place to ask for a growler fill, but they said due to California regulations, that they can't do this because they're not a brewery. Yet I've also gone to University of Beer and Burgers and Beer -- they're not breweries -- and had my growler filled. Really strange!!!
