Can’t give 5 stars. They are selling Felco pruners for $109!!!! You can buy them elsewhere for $50-60. The markup is insane. There are other products throughout the store as well that have a ridiculous markup. Borderline criminal. On another note their bulk compost must come from the landfill as it is completely ridden with small pieces of plastics. Bought 1.5 yards. There’s probably 1.5k pieces of plastic in it!!! I shop at various Ace stores a lot but this one needs some help.
Update: since you responded just so you know they’re at register by the birds.

Fantastic locally-owned hardware / housewares store. The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to get anything from bathroom hardware to paint, and the pet supplies / specialty food selection is great! Best place in Davis to get gardening supplies, too -- from soil to starters, and they have a great selection of supplies for home growers. Absolutely recommend Davis Ace, I've been shopping there for my hardware and garden supplies for nearly 20 years now.

It's a great place I love it so much I work there lol.... The staff is great, and they have a great selection of items for damn near any household projects you would like to accomplish. If you're in Davis I recommend you go and check this place out whether you're looking to buy or just want to pass time
