I heard about Carbahal from a friend and fellow business owner. I called and left a detailed message over a week ago, with no response. I called again a few days ago and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then disconnected, with no answer when I called back. Our tax guy retired and we were hoping to use them for all of our businesses in the Yolo County Area. Bummer! Communication is key!

I have nothing else but praises for Steven Willhoff at Carbahal. The first impression was very engaging and pleasant. Steven was very professional in every steps of the process to get my tax done. The result is just outstanding. I don't know how he's done it, but I'm very impressed... Good Job!

This is absolutely the best place to get your taxes done. They are even better than the best CPAs in Sacramento. I highly recommend them to anyone who lives in the area. I'm amazed they even have one 1 star review. It's probably from the competition!

I got lucky to get Stephanie and her father John to help me as trustee get my uncle's estate taxes to the IRS on time. TRUST me, it was NOT easy on me nor my younger son and the assistants we had to hire, in addition to the work of the Carbahals. Stephanie SAW how much we were struggling with the complexities and even worked on the weekends to help us meet the deadlines. There was just way too much to do in the short time frame the IRS was giving. For the first deadline as well as the final one after the extension, she was up late and early to answer last minute questions and we did make all of the deadlines but ONLY due to Stephanie going so above and beyond. My son and I were not sleeping at all, and on the deadline date I got a message from the doctor on call to head to ER right away as my blood work came back horrific. I chose not to go to ER but back to MX where the doctors are SO much better. Anyway, I cannot thank them enough...Yes, they do hire the local HS students to give them some job skills and experience after school, but not all are even capable to file or much these days and may not make it longer term...since Davis schools are no longer like they were during my days or my sons' either...As CPAs they ARE the best north of SF at least...not sure why some would gripe about the lacks of an office folks, they ARE OFFICE folks not CPAs for a reason...

Kind, competent, efficient, trustworthy. We had a personal tax snafu that Carbahal was able to help us out with. They even found additional tax savings we hadn't even known how to look for, so we came out net positive in the end. Can't recommend these people enough!
