9am passport service appointment, simple walking in and out? Not at all, at this facility, appointment doesn’t count, clerks are ignorant, you ask a question, you get silence… lolThis is the first time I’m in this facility and just enough to tell me how much I can trust the service here. If there’s one, I’ll vote to move the service to UPS or FedEx. They are just willing to provide good service.

Whenever I have an issue I am left to deal with their automated system which is awful. It either doesn't understand or there isn't an option for what the issue is. It's bad enough when your mail isn't picked up for several days, but when you try to correct the problem it is a nightmare.

We had two $20K checks and two debit cards mailed to us within a couple months. Out of the four envelopes, only one of the checks made it to our mailbox.

I made an appointment for passport services for my 2-year-old daughter. We arrived on time and were immediately greeted by Dean. As we all know, the passport process can be confusing the first time around. Luckily, Dean was very knowledgeable about the process and helped us step by step with the application. Additionally, my daughter was afraid to take pictures and cried the whole time. Dean patiently waited and allowed my wife and I to calm our daughter down and get her to stand still. As a result, the picture came out great. Customer service is the most important aspect of a business, and Dean's customer service showcased his experience and job knowledge in customer service. The pride he took in his work demonstrated his commitment to his customers and inspire us to treat other with patience and respect.The only improvement I can think of is to have a designated area for passport picture. Like a chair with white background.

SIX stars for Dean, 4 for the post office itself. I have lived at the same address in Danville since 1998. Every time Dean has helped me, he is not only courteous (and not ingratiatingly or patronizingly so) but also very helpful. He goes above and beyond to find missing or misdirected packages. He found out what happened to a box I sent to *mainland China* (it had been rejected for stupid reasons). Today he gave me such peace of mind. This past Tue am I sent a box 2 day priority from CA to PA for my daughter's bday on Thu. Then nothing. I got a text Fri saying the box had an incorrect address/zip code and was being redirected, then next day saying it was being delivered somewhere. I called USPS and they could not say where it was being delivered and just put in a ticket. I went to the Danville post office and Dean went to the back to do more research. He came back to show me the sequence of 4 incorrect zip codes through which the box had traveled, but was able to confirm that it was now being delivered to the correct address today. Dean is thorough, kind, empathetic, courteous, and very capable! He deserves a raise! As for the rest of the post office, the other staff is pretty good for the most part; two are kind of rude. The Asian woman is nice. However, the worst thing is that it is understaffed. At lunchtime, and Sat ams, there should be more than 1-2 people at the front. That's when people go to the post office the most. And in December, the lines are often out the door; they don't place more staff at the windows for the holiday traffic!

Don't come here between 9-2 because every window clerk helps with passports and you will be waiting for 15 minutes for a 2 minute transaction.

Quick in an out for dropping off a package and couple of letters, not much of a line (Tuesday 130 pm) , helpful representatives and great self service kiosk !

I don’t know what’s with the passport reviews being bad, maybe they fired the other guy? The lady was great. She didn’t smile whole lot but so efficient. Last time we did this in Milpitas they told us to stable and assemble our own stuff and this lady did all of it. Clean and quick, we are grateful.
