“Top Shop Auto has serious expertise for care and maintenance of a ton of car types including Land Cruisers, Lexus LX570s and other off road (and on road) vehicles. They won’t be the least expensive but if you care about long term quality care of a vehicle, they’re a great choice. And yes, I am an actual reviewer. Just took my Lexus GX460 there for a basic oil change and transmission fluid drain and fill.”

“I was refered here by another car guy, but I was really apprehensive about going to a new mechanic. As a woman, I have had many bad mechanic experiences. I was bracing myself for a bunch of gross dudes to act weird and price gouge me or talk down to me since I don't know much about cars.
Totally the opposite! I was immediately greeted by mechanics who talked to me about what I needed for my car while the office manager was in the middle of a phone call. I had my young daughter with me and it turns out they have very little ones at home. They just made conversation with me while we waited. Then the office manager finished his call and they worked me into a little spot they had available. He quoted me a fair price and they got to work. All lovely men. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. My brakes are happy and so am I. My husband was happy I was treated well since he had to fly out of state and didn't have time to work on my car before he left.
Of course, we're moving away by the end of the month, so I hopefully won't need any more services by then. I just wanted to take the time to share my experience so other people like me will feel comfortable bringing their cars to this shop.”

“Very honest person. I had issues with transmission valve of Subaru. Dealership said it’s not under warranty and would require $ 2,500. Brought the car to Dan. He researched and gave me a printout of Subaru extended warranty which I showed to Subaru dealership and was able to get the valve fixed at not cost to me. I only paid Dan 50$ for his evaluation. He is most honest mechanic I have come across.”

But, I am not selfish so here goes.If you are looking for an honest, personable, talented mechanic you need go no further than Justin's Auto Care (JAC). For many years, my family and many of my neighbors have gone to JAC. Whether it is diagnosing issues or simply doing the car maintenance, Justin does excellent work and is always fair. It is amazing to have a great mechanic and outstanding person right in our neighborhood. It is a family run business and they treat you well. Car mechanical issue are never fun but it is nice to have someone you can trust to help work through them. Happy to have JAC So close. “I've used the Repair Shop with Sal and his crew a bunch of times over the last couple years. They have always done great work at a reasonable price which is becoming harder to find these days. They are also a customer first shop and are great about explaining the work they think you need and cost before they start. If you have any questions or issues with the work done they do everything possible to answer those question or will ask you to bring the car back to look at any issues you might have. They are my go to shop because of all of these reasons. Don't hesitate to give them a try.”

“My transmission went out while traveling through Pleasanton on a Sunday. We had the van towed to this shop based on their good Yelp reviews. The whole process was simple and pleasant. I got a competitive price and had them proceed with the work. While the work was being done I contracted pneumonia and ended up in the hospital. Well, I didn't end up because I survived, but you know what I mean. This put a delay of a few days on my paying and a few weeks on my picking up the van. They were supportive and didn't give me any hassle even though they were inconvenienced. These are good people and I'll use them again.”
