The communication with the wedding cake baker herself was really bad.. I had missed her call once then when I tried calling back 15 minutes after plus 2 more times throughout that same week, I didn’t get a response for over 2 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend this bakery honestly due to huge lack of communication with the client. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and delicious which makes it hard to want to recommend them to others.

I ordered a birthday cake for my 3 year old from here and I wish I had known about this place sooner. The design was SPOT on, executed perfectly, the cake itself was maybe the best cake I’ve ever had (and I do not like cake), the frosting was not too sweet, and the service was great.I have never seen my family and friends eat cake like this before. I’ve spent hundreds on beautiful but inedible cakes. Never again.I cannot recommend this place enough and will use them exclusively for all my baked good needs!!

Karen and the whole crew at Old Towne Danville Bakery are fabulous! Delicious treats, from custom frosted cookies to pastries, fresh breads, desserts and so much more! Small town atmosphere with the best in bakery goods ... I highly recommend them!

I ordered Irish Soda Bread for St Patrick's Day. It was so delicious and fresh. The service at the bakery is amazing. All customers are made to feel special. I buy chocolate chip cookies every week. Susan D

A very enthusiastic "thank you" to Karen and her team at Old Towne Bakery in Danville. My dad's 80th birthday cake was so special - almost didn't want to cut it, it was so perfect. Even the Chinese character was flawless. And they are so nice to work with, really a class act. On top of being the cutest cake I've ever seen, it was also moist and delicious. So happy to have found this place!

Used Old Towne for the first time for a party based off yelp reviews and I wasn't disappointed!! I placed my order online and simply asked for a "golf theme". What I got exceeded my expectations! Everyone at the party was so impressed with the cake! And on top of that it was delicious. The mini cupcakes were perfect size and adorable (I added my own cake toppers) Will definitely be using them in the future!

Thank you Karen! The cookies and the lemon cake you sent to my shop with your daughter were amazing. My son absolutely loved the chocolate chip cookies. The coconut and macadamia nut cookies were to die for!! The little cookies you sent, I gave to Mel for his kids and he came back the next day to tell me his kids just loved the cookies. Easy enough to place the on line cake order for my son and daughter in law's first baby shower. I had requested a marble cake with vanilla buttercream filling and frosting. I also provided a digital picture of the shower invitation that my son had designed. With plenty of lead time, i had zero hesitation that all would be fine. Got the confirmation that my order was received. Went to the bakery to make sure no issues-had arisen and glad that i had. Discussed the 3D baby shoes and the decor to mirror the invitations. The day of pickup arrived and my first impression was pure joy!!!! The cake was an unbelievable hit with all the guests especially the loving couple about to be new parents! Thank you, OTDB, for coming through with flying colors!
