My experience with Tina at Pyrenees pets is wholly positive. Being in a high demand business, she adheres to her rules to a tee. Her rules are completely fair and just. When my turn came in, her people groomed my dog and transformed her into a knock-out beauty. Tina needs vaccination records, and I feel safe in taking my dog there. Good people, good company, and good price. I am a happy camper there!! Ram

I have been bringing my dog Neemy here for several years now and I love it so much! They take good care of her. The lady at the front desk has never been rude to me! They have had a few price increases over the years which is to be expected with inflation all over but overall I trust them and so does Neemy so i will continue my business with them!

Horrible service. The front desk is just rude. Used the service there and here few times in last few years. It was recommended by neighbor. And i would mention to people when they ask since its down in plaza close by. But... i will NEVER recommend this place again. Customer service is so bad... never will use again.If they treat you bad can imagine how they treat your pooch. My dog had skin and eye infections after the visit, i did notice he had red eyes and skin when picked up. Hope it would settle after day, no, we were in and out vets for month+ for eye, skin infections.

No idea how this place has 4 stars. Grooming is inconsistent bc they can't keep employees, likely bc the owners' bad attitudes and rude demeanor. They yell at customers if pups aren't picked up immediately, snap if THEY can't find an appt in their handy spiral notebook, and spend less than 30 minutes actually grooming. The only reason this place is still around is bc of the lack of options in the area. Consider yourself warned.

Our dog always looks fabulous when he emerges from a shampoo and cut here. The ladies who run the place are wonderful. Alas it is a victim of its success as the next appointment may be months out.

Their grooming is good. However I had to deduct several stars for their customer service and scheduling system. After scheduling appointments 6-8 weeks in advance, for the second time, when we arrived for the appointment, they said it was not on their books. The y schedule their appointments by hand in an apptmnt book, and this obviously isn't working for them. Pls Pyreness Pet upgrade this archaic Flintstone process with an online scheduling system. How about one that automatically sends text message confirmation and reminders to customers. We plan our weeks and months in advance around the grooming appointments. Your current system and inability to accurately book and track appointments is causing your customers a lot of frustration.. if not addressed, customers may look elsewhere for service from a service that has their act together.

Been taking BTD (Bondi the Dog) here ever since she was a wee lass. We take her every other week. They do an excellent job. They are consistent and keep her from becoming matted. Their prices are reasonable and they have many other items available for purchase in the shop. Highly recommend!

My dogs love Pyrenees Pets! They always come out clean and happy :) we've been coming to this place for the last 7 years and the owners are always accommodating to our requests . They get busy so make sure you have an ample time to schedule for your next pet's appointment !!!

Don't take your pets here if you don't want them abused! And the front lady who is the owner is so rude! They just want your money and they don't care for the pets!

This place was recommended by several people and I don't know why. The women at the front desk are blatantly rude. Almost comically rude. I came in with my mini Aussie. I booked a grooming appointment, showed a picture, and told them several times I wanted her "trimmed" -- just trimmed. If you are a dog groomer, you should know what to do with an Aussie when someone says trim. They used clippers buzzing her down and completely destroying her undercoat. When I said she was too short and I wanted a trim, as I expressed many times before leaving, they said I should have then just asked for a "bath" because a "groom" inherently means they're going to use "clippers." Makes zero sense. And if that's the case, then they should have made that clear upon drop off when I showed a picture of how I wanted her to look. I couldn't have been more clear that I didn't want my dog shaved and that's exactly what they did. Oh, and then they charged $90 for the uneven hack job.

PP's does a fabulous job grooming our dog. But their front desk service is rude, blunt and insensitive. Reminder phone calls come across as directive and borderline threatening. I showed up during the holidays with a box of chocolates. They front desk person took them, said nothing and literally threw them across the desk to the side. At first I thought I did something wrong so I waited to see how others were treated. About half were treated similarly. Hmmmm. That's not a passing grade. Maybe since this is this way since it's the only one in Blackhawk. Seeking another service asap!

Amazing! Everyone thinks their dog is the cutest, but mine really is thanks to Pyrenees Pets! We've had our little Yorkie for two years and have been to 3 different groomers. My kids would beg me not to take her because she would come home looking a bit like a rat. I tried Pyrenees's Pets today for the first time and Casey looks exactly like the photo I gave them to show how I wanted her hair cut. I am so happy that we have finally found a place to take her!

Best haircut ever! They did it super quickly, in and out in an hour. Very reasonable prices. We will be returning customers - we're so glad we found a groomer we love!
