“We arrived at 1:00am on a Saturday morning and were greeted by a friendly face who was able to help us check in very quickly. The room and shower/bathroom were all very tidy and we had no issues. Check out was a breeze and its location is very good for the area. The hallways did have a distinct smell that wasn't bad but also wasn't great. Hard to put a finger on it. I was charmed by the history of Danville pictures that lined the walls of our hallway. I had plenty of time to look at all of them due to how long it was taking my gf to pack all of her things...”

“We stay at The Rose Hotel every December. It’s perfectly located in downtown Pleasanton with lots of shops and restaurants within just a few minutes’ walk. The outlets are just 15 min away and are always fun. Parking is easy and there are even free charging stations available to guests only. The rooms are fantastic - spacious, quiet, windows that open, large bathrooms with separate water closet and soaking tub, daily cleaning service and turn down, 2 comfortable chairs, cozy blankets and very comfortable beds. I often don’t want to leave the room. The bar downstairs is perfect for before and after dinner drinks - they even bring popcorn and peanuts to enjoy while you sip your wine or cocktail. The morning breakfast is exactly what you need - nothing extravagant but with plenty of options from fresh fruit to smoked salmon to oatmeal to eggs benedict. Coffee in room (French Press) and in lobby is fresh and flavorful, tea options available as well. I always look forward to our annual visit.”

“I can't recommend Diablo Mountain Inn enough! The rooms are very pleasant, comfortable and clean. The general and housekeeping staff are the best - always professional yet friendly and very helpful - with a smile on their face! Yes, there is freeway noise and from Mt. Diablo Blvd., but ear plugs can take care of that! Highly recommend!!!”

“Five times a year there is this Awesome healing school which offers seminars there in the conference rooms, called the Barbara Brennan School of Healing after some famous author. I was staying there and curious, and got invited in for a student for a day and attended because I am interested in Yoga and meditation, and it was awesome. From what little I could gleam they teach a form of holistic mind body healing that is based on mindfulness and being more aware of all our own emotions and thoughts, and being able to make better decisions and take care of ourselves with all that extra information of what's truly going on inside us. Was really cool ??❤️”

“I stayed here Wednesday 1-10-24 and the customer care was top tier. The reception was welcoming. I had no wait. They waved my parking fee. Some of the best sleep I've gotten in months. I stay at a lot of of different hotels from Cali to Vegas, this was my best experience ever.”

“Hello, once again I need to leave another stellar review. Like I've espoused before I need to get away from my family because I take care of them full-time and just need a short term vacation. Kerry could not have been a more encompassing and super nice overnight hotel manager. Let my hair down the first night of my stay and he was endlessly helpful and just seems like a nice genuine person. Second night after I felt like somebody crapped in my mouth and realized I didn't bring a toothbrush or anything was totally the best in setting me up with the proper accoutrements. What more do you need, a nice caring person concerned about your well-being and doesn't hate the job they're paid to do. When you come here my man Kerry understands his role in being helpful to your stay. Once again, hotel rooms are as clean as clean can be. I honestly feel privileged having such a nice facility at my disposal this close to my house. I don't need to drive to the city or at least Dublin to feel like I'm not gonna get scabies from the sheets or share a connecting door with people on meth all night. righteous!”

“A well run property, and at an excellent price point. The breakfast had ketchup in a pump dispenser, I've not seen that before. Much easier to put on my scrambled eggs. They're serious about the no smoking, a room near me had the "deodorizing in progress" sign up, yep, someone smoked/vaped, and they're getting charged.I'd stay again, no doubt”

“For service members and families that are transitioning into or out of the area, consider this hotel. It provides a safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable location to help ease the stresses of travel or PCS.The staff were wonderfully accomidating when making changes to reservations. The cleaning crew were friendly and flexible during a long stay when work hours interfered with their cleaning schedules.Breakfast and coffee were always hot and available.I almost hated having to continue on when my stay was over. Sure beats sleeping in barracks.Safety: Unfortunately, crime is an issue in the area, but thanks to the fact that you are on Camp Parks, where access is limited, you can pretty much rest assured that you're not going to wake up missing a catalytic converter.”

“First time staying here. Was welcomed right away from the hotel receptionist. Very friendly and welcoming. Check in really fast. Pros- Such a big room! Sad I didn't have more time to spend there. Pros-spacious room, full size refrigerator, a big desk, a hard wire internet connection, half size stove with clean dishes stocked throughout. Cons- Stair access only, could be tough with heavy luggage. Would definitely have to get an accessible room on the first floor if you have mobility challenges. The bed is a little hard especially for a side sleeper. Overall, the hotel is clean. The location is pretty nice and the ambiance is really nice. Walking distance to a few restaurants. I think the next time I would definitely get a rental car so I can drive around. I'm giving this place 4 stars because there was a hole in the carpet. That was very strange.”

“It’s one of the best Marriott that I’ve stayed at and I have to say that the staff at the front desk are there was nothing that wasn’t too much for them to sort out. The MC is great and I would stay there over and over again.”

“Boy, where do I start... FIRST: The service. Every single staff member - from valet to concierge to servers were PERFECT. We had a bit of a mishap at the valet area and all three posted there dropped everything to help us. That truly helped with how quickly that was resolved. (We made sure to tip well!) The concierge made it easy to check in and made sure to remind us that we had free drinks at the bar, "but get there ASAP since there's only about an hour left." (Yes. We took advantage of THAT!) Our server at the restaurant was friendly and efficient even with a bit of the crowd. He was pretty strategic when making his rounds to make sure he got everyone and everyone had what they need. SECOND: The room. It looked and smelled clean. Ditto the bathroom. Other than a small crack on the sink, it was perfect. THIRD: Their complimentary continental breakfast. Great selections of fruit, bread, cereal, drinks, food. The cherry on top was the omelette station. Whaaaaattt?!?LAST: The hotel overall. I love the open area all throughout. They don't have those hallway type walkways: it really is just open. It's almost a claustrophobic's dream. And not a single piece of clutter anywhere. It almost made me wanna stay one more night! Excellent EXCELLENT run. Highly recommending this for those needing accommodations around this area.”

“1)$100 CASH ONLY DEPOSIT.2) Laundry on 2nd floor3) Absolutely no visitors allowed without ID. Paid the guy upwards of 900, still not allowed to have any guests who do not show ID at front desk.4) Pet FEE is $20. It is NOT a deposit.5) Just like last time I stayed here a month ago POOL is not in service.. not available..it was 93° today. So that sucks. Well it's available to look at... And for the record it looks clean and clear and refreshing and lovely. But all you're going to be doing is looking at it.Helpful enough, able to check out a hairdryer at front desk and gave me a comp toohbrush. At 2 a.m. you can stand out front and watch the paisas and their pretty girls stumble in making out like high schoolers, as well as, vehicles speed by, loudly revving doing50- 80 mi an hour. NO concern for any cops. Nor did I see even one cop, so I guess these people know their neighborhood well.”

“If you use Roku or Chromecast.. you will not be able to get the TV to allow you to press input... If you have Roku let the sound from the TV come through your cell phone so you can turn down the sound or turn up the sound..it's the only way to use your Roku...they have their own system that you can't get around because you don't get the original remote for the LG that is in the room”

“We stayed for the second time In a year. Our room, 226 was fine up until the last day/night when the bathroom sink had slowed up to drain out ( we did not rinse dishes with food on them..gross. only for brushing teeth) . We also had a wi-fi issue with the connection after we signed in, that was ANNOYING and my husband was irritated. We did not have a problem on our last stay, hence the 3 star rating.Walkability: There are walking trails nearby. One trail, IronHorse trail will take you to downtown if you are willing to walk a little over 2 miles to reach some outdoor shops, restaurants.”
