Paige was the one who reached out to me when I first walked into the store. She is very knowledgeable and she first measured both of my feet. I thought I was a 101/2 but it turns out my shoes were cramping my toes and the correct size I needed was 11. My podiatrist wears Hoka and that was the brand I selected. She allowed me to walk around the store a few times and my feet never felt better. I have Achilles tendinitis in my right heel and I felt to pain or irritation. I love the foam sole and great arch support. I have experienced a new way of walking on air. Paige is a tri athlete and very knowledgeable about walking and running shoes. The store has a great selection of various top rated brands. I will definitely be coming back due to the personalized service and fair prices.

Helped me try 6-7 pairs of shoes and take them all for a test run while looking for my first 'serious' pair of running shoes. Lots of patience and advice later, walked out happily paying full price for such awesome customer service!

Let's get to the point, recently moved from NY(former Roadrunner). Wanted to connect with other runners and needed some new shoes. This overpriced, snobby place was recommended to me by some random runner in Las Lomas HS track. If you want to save money and get a good service stick with the websites (i.e. Nike, Adidas, Brooks etc). You can find better deals and better return policy if you are a member(Nike 60 day return- Used). You can obviously find the latest on the website as well (Nike/Adidas has free shipping I know if you sign up). Do not go there as I tried returning a pair I wore for one lap and they wouldn't take it back. I give it a one star because it will not allow me to post without at least one star.

I just wanted to try one pair of shoes of a specific size but i had to be interviewed and feet measured first. They didn’t have the right size in stock but then kept trying to force me to try on the wrong size. Well then why did you make a big deal about measuring my feet in order to quote “not bring you several sizes to try on”? And i didn’t appreciate you bringing me other styles that were completely different. I can only say no thank you so many times. Just saying there’s a reason why people would rather shop online.

Staff in this store know nothing of how to fit shoes. I wanted Hoka's and bought a pair based on "help" from one of the staff. They never fit. Call Hoka instead and they can fit better over the phone than these guys in person. Go elsewhere to buy running shoes !!!!

The BEST service ever, the staff is so professional here. This is the third pair of shoes I've purchased here just because I know I am going to be fitted perfectly for my particular foot & stride. I can't recommend this shoe store enough. Support this Danville gem! Purchases here are a great value because you are walking out with the proper shoe for YOU.

Went in for some new athletic shoes, and Roberta was amazing. She spent so much time looking at my gait and having me run up and down their driveway multiple times in different shoes to make sure I got the perfect fit. In a time where there is very little customer service, both Roberta, and Forward Motion knocked it out of the park! Thank you!

I had to buy my daughter some soccer cleats right away. We were kind of stressing out about it because it was last minute. But the staff here was amazing for us and they just brought out everything her size so she could try it on. They helped to get her fitted and made her comfortable and they were trying to help me to by showing me which ones were on sale and helping me with the price. Soccer cleats ain’t cheap! But they also got her a few little accessories that cheered her up and were super fun for her. It’s just a great place and they had more in stock than the big-name stores. So I love to support this local business whenever possible
