Love everything in there. I used to love the Walnut Creek one growing up. Has nice kitchen stuff, cards, jewelry, and more. I went during a car show in the parking lot so I didn't spend a lot of time but looks like you could find a specialty gift for someone here or yourself.

I am not sure abt the customer service experience that others unfortunately experienced; my customer service experience was just ok...not awesome, but definitely not bad/off putting. What I am really pleased with is that I went to several stores looking for some nice paper/stationery to write a letter...(Hobby Lobby, Michael's, even ultimately checked Staples, Homegoods and Target). Much to my surprise, it wasn't easy to find! I am glad for a store like this that provided much needed variety in an age like we live in today. They had a line of stationery by Peter Pauper Press, which apparently is family owned AND quite beautiful/of nice quality at a price that isn't particularly unreasonable. The rest of the store also had a variety of items (some admittedly a bit pricey imo--but also SOME of that pricey stuff NOT made in China)... Overall, am glad I came across the store bc of the variety it provides in the present day market and am looking forward to going there as other needs arise. Am also looking forward to exploring the Walnut Creek location since it is said to be bigger/have more items/selections.

This is a much smaller store than Walnut Creek. I went in for holiday gifts and was disappointed with the small selection. Both locations are pricey.

David M Brian has always been my “go to” store if I want a nice gift! Their inventory is fabulous and I always find something I love. ❤️ I also like the fact that a lot of the customer service folks are older and have been at this store for many years. They are so eager to help?

I worked in Danville for 18 years. I always to shopped local for special occasions. I spent almost $200. at the store in August, shopping for a gift my niece & nephew. when it came time to have the gifts wrapped... what an issue. I bought a picture for my 3 year old niece. The mature gal who has blond hair made that experience so complicated that my ties to "special" occasion shopping at there store has come to a halt. she knows the story... I'm not writing for that. I just want her to know that the gift she was against wrapping made it to the Saratoga Ca just fine which would have never been wrapped it it as up to her. I don't expect to shop her again, it was a very negative experience for me because of her.

Worst customer service Rude and unprofessional sales associates On 2 occasions I went to buy a house warming gift and both times the sales people were either engaging in their own conversation or completely ignoring customers . They also have an attitude when you ask for gift box or gift receipt These ladies need to find another profession. Management needs to be more serious about the people they hire.

This is really the ultimate gift shop. They have everything you could possibly need from cards and books and various linens and kitchen supplies all well organized and in great supply and displayed very nicely. We were just there browsing and we were very nicely asked if we needed assistance and politely declined at the time, but I'm sure if we needed something they would've been very happy to assist us.

I almost laughed out loud at this grouchy sales person You folks would sell so much if it wasn't so excruciating being in your store! Very unhappy humans, happy to ignore you completely.

Such a nice store in Danville, including McCoulous....I just wish the employees were in happier spirits, rather than bah humbugs. Got the same coldness at each store while we spent quite a lot $$ trying to support local businesses for the holidays.
