If I could give anything below a 0, I would. This bank is horrible. I have been banking here for over 30 years. I recently had a levy sent from the IRS in error to the bank. The IRS, corrected it by sending a withdrawal the very next morning. The error happen on a Wednesday and the correction from the IRS was sent on Thursday. Please keep in mind all my accounts were frozen. Citibank froze the account on the day they received the notice. I was informed in the first conversation with Citibank it will take 2 day for them to release my funds, after that didn't happen I was told 3 days. Now I received a call from the management ( because I requested it) that now it could take up to 4 working days before they will release my $. Which means I would be 7 days without asceses to MY money. Crazy how it can take them one day to put a hold on your account but close to 7 days to release. Horrible customer service and business practice. Run from this Bank!!!!

been banking here for 20+ years. for whatever reason the new staff here are completely incompetent - spent over thirty minutes trying to take out $ navigating a simple fraud issue. i recommend going to the other branch in san ramon that is close by.

This is probably my favorite bank in the area at the moment, pleasant and quick! My teller was yeganeh jalali and she was very very kind! Most tellers can't even start a basic convo with its customers, she happened to not only do that but brighten my whole mood up... I thought of switching banks just because of her, may have to rethink on that one though! Thanks citi bank and Yeganeh!

I don't give reviews to banks until now. This Bank is a joke. Mind you not all Citibank's are like this but this particular bank decided to hire incompetent and combatant employees. I went in the other day for a quick transaction and it quickly turned into a horrible spectacle. It could have been remedied quickly by a senior teller but a personal banker decided to get involved (even though she has no idea what she was saying or doing) instead she was argumentative and hostile the entire time. Then another teller decided to join in on the fun. At the end another teller came and with three clicks fixed the problem and I was on my way. To top it off while as I was leaving they were still having a go at it. They were all young and didn't know how to handle themselves in a professional manner. Did I ask for the manager.. yep sure did. He was not in that day. This is a bank right? Sadly, I guess when the cats away the mice will play.

This thanks goes out to Michelle Ann Taylor Apodaca... she is amazing! I had an extremely complicated issue that took an inordinate amount of time to solve. Michelle stuck with it and with me and was so kind and professional. Thank You Michelle! You are a credit to your bank!

They have a great crew here. Torrance in mortgages, Rachel - personal banker, and Jeff for investments. All work together like a well-oiled machine to provide an extremely client centric experience throughout.

I have had the best experience with the people at Citibank. Even when I move from this area, I will probably still continue to come all the way to San Ramon to see my personal banker. I'm offered all sorts of advice and recommendations. The descriptions are very thorough and if you have any questions, they will provide you an answer. The bank itself is good enough for me. I got a DVD player for opening my account. I am also easily able to check all my accounts. Plus, there are locations all over the bay area and counting.

If you ever watch the newspapers for interest rates, CDs and loans, you will notice that Citibank cannot compete with the competition. Their interest rates on savings and money market accounts are always too low, and their CDs are not even close. Go to Washington Mutual for all of your banking needs. And for car loans and home loans, look into joining Patelco Credit Union.
