Although this Extra Mile station itself is a clean convenient stop, the carwash has much to be desired. Tried it several times over the past few years and again yesterday with the same outcome. It does not wash efficiently and the drying mechanism just doesn't get the vehicle dry. As well there is supposed to be a timer at the end so as you move forward you are able to gauge however it's not available to view. Won't be coming through this carwash again anytime soon, hope somebody in management reads this and makes the proper modifications.

I don't know why the reviews are so bad. I walked in this morning at a time that most people are still asleep to buy a lottery ticket (which I rarely do), and the cashier was pleasant, cordial and friendly.I like the fact that if I need a quick affordable car wash, I usually go here because it's convenient and it's clean. The only issue that I ever had here was that there was someone parked in the area where you add air to your tires, but that's just a normal customer with bad manners and has nothing to do with the establishment.

I went inside with my friends who were going to get some snacks, and an employee came up to me specifically and told me to leave since I was not purchasing anything. I didn't have anything in my hands yet, but what if I was going to later? And even so, since when are you not welcome in a store just because you are not buying something when you're with a group of friends? There was no one else in the store so I don't see a reason for targeting me and kicking just me out. So rude as well, not even a kind ask to leave she just came up to me and pointed at me and told me to get out. So rude and unprofessional

There is a worker here named Michael, an old fat guy with glasses who also works as an Uber driver, who was extremely rude to my friend and I and we were customers. I'm not sure if the people who train their employees at this Chevron are the ones who don't train their workers properly or if he just wasn't raised right by his parents, but either way, he was very disrespectful and unnecessarily rude and he should be fired or at the very least re-trained on how to be a decent person, especially to the customers. I've never had problems with any of the other employees at this location and I'm a regular here.

One of the male employees at this establishment was short tempered with a couple of customers here for no apparent reason. Long hair kept in a pony tail and wears a reflective traffic safety vest. Customer service is non existent here. I'll never be coming back.

Worst employee I've ever seen goes to the Asian man who works here. He was rude and barking at me rather than treating me like a human. I'll be sure to let me friends know not to give this place any business as that man is unbelievably rude and frustrated with his life. If the ownership doesn't care about their customers or service, why would they deserve our business?

I got kicked out of the store for not knowing what i wanted to buy. As the manager says " you should enter the store knowing what you should buy, not look around for it"

I'm outraged by this station. Every time I stop here, I regret it. On 04/05/21, I bought a $70 tank of gas & a $15 "works" wash. When I entered my wash code & pulled into the machine, the washer wouldn't start. When I pressed the "Help" call button, I got no response. I had to pull around to the convenience store & go inside for assistance. A half-dozen customers & one counterperson (let's call him "A" for "amateur"); the other counterperson/manager ("T" for "twit") was nowhere to be seen. After 10 minutes, it was my turn, but A didn't know how to help me. T showed up but flat-out ignored A & his questions for another 5 minutes. When T finally looked at my receipt, he merely said, "This is from a long time ago," and turned away. He flat-out ignored me when I replied, "It's from 30 minutes ago," and continued to ignore A & me for another 10 minutes. Finally, T shoved A out of the way, spent another 5 minutes punching buttons on the register and tossed the new receipt at me. Not only did he treat me incredibly rudely, he didn't help his own employee learn how to do something basic, which will ensure that other customers get the pleasure of experiencing the same kind of confusion in the future. What should have been a 15-minute stop for a tank & a rinse turned into nearly an hour of utter disrespect. I don't care whether T is an employee, a manager or even the franchisee; he is an incredibly poor representation of what Chevron should want for someone wearing their logo. Moreover, why would I want to continue to patronize a store like this? This experience isn't a rare one; it's par-for-the-course at this place.

GREAT PLACE TO GET GAS AND SOMETHING TO DRINK ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR HEADED TO BIG O TIRES AROUND THE CORNER FOR TIRES AND OIL CHANGE AND ALL THE OTHER STUFF THEY DO. :)

this chevron station is BIG. convenience store is good sized too. many parking spaces available. small car wash at the side of the store. understaffed in the early afternoon. only 1 person on duty. beverages aren't self serve. eats: "Extra Mile Cheddar & Sour cheese" potato chips 2.75 oz (2/$3) -flavors very muted, lots of chemical, flavor enhancers. -nice crunch, not noteworthy. -a pass next time.

Called to see if their car wash was working. Busy signal. Was able to drive from Pleasanton to their location in Danville all the while calling. Busy signal. Need to add that earlier in the day I tried to call for the information and and ---wait for it---busy signal. When I got there and ggit the car washes I went i to the store to ask if their phones were broken or if ff the hoook. A surly man said NO! A long call!!!! Their busy signal was playing in my phone for them. Corporate really needs to check on this business.

I have purchased gas, Diet Coke and coffee at this location for many years. The level a service Amelia provides your customers should be noted. She is welcoming, always in a good mood and very fast in processing transactions. Randy Danville

UPDATE: I went in this morning and explained to the three employees there what happened. They were super kind and caring and patiently listened. When I was done, they issued me a car wash with two stamps on a stamp card. Because of their kindness, I told them I'd speak to the manager prior to escalating it up to corporate. I did that and mentioned them. She was also great. She was willing to bend over backward and do whatever I needed. I told her that wasn't necessary, I just wanted the employee from yesterday talked to. I also told her how exceptional the employees this morning were. I'm going to leave my star and add 1 for the management and the three employees this AM. ----- Sultani, I believe that is his name, is ABHORRENT. He is work today, 9/10/19 at 5:30 pm. I waited 30 minutes in the car wash line. The car wash jammed up on someone else. I was stuck. Once it was my turn, it wouldn't wash my car. I was now super later to pick up my dependents, so I left and called the station. They said return ANY TIME to get a refund and reissue. I did, now, less than 2 hours later. I brought my receipt. The employee referenced above (herein "the employee") would not look at me, said I hadn't spoken to him. Wouldn't look at the receipt. Made me state several times that I purchased the car wash at 3:07 pm and left the car wash at 3:42 pm. Woman next to him (also an employee) clearly knew he was not acting correctly. Then he told me no, he would not reissue the car wash. Their car wash malfunction really screwed my day, and cost more money in other ways pertaining to extended care for my kid. I was told to come back and get the car wash and when I did, I was basically given the big old "eff off" by this guy. I was so upset (ps I also had two other abnormally bad things happen in my home) that I yelled at him. He walked away. I NEVER yell at people. I had just asked politely and stood there while he counted and recounted pennies, patiently. I am so disgusted. I will never come here again, and I will be sure and post this amazing lack of customer service on all of the Facebook Mom's groups, which seem to drive business in our area. The woman refunded me, but that's not the point. I still left my husband home with three kids and chores and dinner to make to resolve this, in order to be diligent. The car wash still malfunctioned. The guy was BLATANTLY rude. I am appalled.

Express car wash left my car drenched even though the description said it would dry the car. Who would want a soaking wet car?
