Wow what a pleasant experience at a bank not only was a I greeted when I came in by the lady I didn't know would later help me but she stood up made eye contact and greeted me her name is Jenea she has the coolest hair in the building also it's Red I went to the teller Kiana and she directed me to her. Kiana was super nice also very friendly and maintained eye contact which in this world seems to be fleeting fast. I had a widddddle overdraft issue Jenea offered to look at it for me wow boy I didn't even know she ended up finding something else I needed help with she just saved me I won't say how much but someone should get her a gift card or free lunch manager don't be cheap she's a great addition to your branch. A friendly smile and a calm voice very knowledgeable. I will deal with Jenea going forward strictly thank you. It's not easy to be treated fair as a African American male in Danville Ca often but this was easy

I’ve been going to chase for 5 years, they used to be great but now every time I go in for something simple, like a cash withdraw, an expired card, (for some reason they never sent one after my card expired in February, it’s halfway through March now), or more recently to talk to someone about a mortgage, they make me feel like I’m causing them sooo many issues by wanting them to do their job? Ok chase. Do better.

I cannot recommend ever keeping an account at Chase Bank.I have been a loyal customer for decades, and am pulling all my accounts to another institution. All major banks offer the same services - the only difference is in the customer experience. They have lost my entire family's business and I'm telling as many people as possible to stay away.Too many charged fees for their errors - yes, you read that correctly. They make internal process errors with deposits I make, then charge me fees, then refuse to reverse them when I clearly show - to their satisfaction - that the error was THEIRS.Yup, they admit the error was theirs. They admit I am not at all at fault. And they STILL refuse to reverse their service charges.I'm gone - I can't guarantee any other institution I go to won't eventually pull the same tricks, but I'm hoping my local credit union will give me a better experience.MY RECOMMENDATION: Avoid Chase Bank at all costs.

Had a very bad experience with this Chase Mortgage process, we were trying to buy a second home and got pre-approved. After submitting about 40 documents they kept changing the parameters of the loan to the point that I could not actually get a loan. They strung the process along for over two weeks and wasted so much of my time, I would highly recommend searching for other options before you talk to them, very unethical banking. I also made the mistake of moving balances so I could get the best rate... so unethical!!!!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced over the phone and at the branch. Extremely rude and unhelpful with everything. Did not even attempt to help me.

Been a Chase customer for 15+ years. Went for a simple notary signature and saw the one I had used previously was available and sitting around. But front desk said no one is available at the moment and asked me to make an appointment. Disappointed and wish it were easy to move to a different bank but I’m kinda locked in due to dependencies with different auto pay.. horrible experience

I wanted to take a moment and write a review of the Danville branch for Chase. We recently had an extremely frustrating and stressful incident when Chase (corporate) decided to place a 10 business day hold on a large deposit to our account that came from certified check issued by our title company. At the time we made our deposit we were informed that there would be a temporary hold of 24 hours. As such, we were shocked to received notice 3 business days later that there would be an extended hold and even more alarmed when the notice did not include a reason for what prompted the hold. I immediately returned to the location of where the deposit was made to express my alarm and request assistance. While there were many errors made by Chase Corporate and their back office audit team - including errors that will have us looking into potentially terminating our accounts and transferring our funds to a new bank - I have to give credit where credit is due and say the team at this Danville location immediately stepped up and helped us work through this challenge. Specifically, the branch manager, Rich, went above and beyond to get this resolved and our funds released within hours to our account. So bravo to Rich and the entire team - you deserve to be applauded for your efforts and a job well done.

We have been a long customer of this location. Washington Mutual was there previously. Over the years Chase has been our primary bank. Due to service level issues and unprofessional customer service from this branch we opened up an Acct with Union Bank (pleased).. In the recent couple of years, specifically the last 10 months, I have witnessed others and myself being treated poorly by a couple of Tellers. Francine the teller is arrogant, short, rude. I practice social distancing, This Lady is so dramatic and insulting as if customers have the plaque. Her body language is offensive as she acts like she's scared.. I contact the Branch Mgr who told me for 5 minutes this teller was a high performer and that wanted todo banking there, I need to come in and work things out with her. The Mgr turned a deaf ear to my comments. I asked that all I expect is for her to be polite and professional. Mgrs comments were Not Acceptable. I called the Regional Area Mgr. to enlighten him regarding my experience. He Very professional and understanding. After thinking about this I decided I don't need the stress to work anything out with anyone at Danville Chase Bank to do my banking. I drive farther to utilize the San Ramon Crow Canyon Commons branch. Great service and great staff. The Danville Mgr needs to warm the atmosphere, listen to customers comments and acknowledge the personels behavior and not run off customers. I'm done with Danville until she's transferred. Her customer service skills Suck. Needs a refresher.. Change of scenery made help her..

I really really dislike this location, inefficient and worst customer service. During this pandemic, they have 7 workers inside while one is working as a teller with a line of people outside. What's the point of having more then one employee if they are just going to stand around and tell people to enter through the front door? They need to step it up and stop being lazy
