This is a quality hotel that offers great service. The most important quality was customer service at all levels of the organization. This includes the front desk, bellman, valet, room service, security, all servers in each and every restaurant we visited during our stay were great. The food was delicious! This hotel is my favorite and I have travelled a lot in my career. This will be a place I will go to annually.
Rooms: Our view was fantastic. Housekeeping was great.
Nearby activities: The town of Dana Point gives you access to the harbor and unique shopping. You can take a trolley to Laguna Beach and enjoy boutique shops and art galleries.
Walkability: You never have to leave the hotel. Everything is floor away. Excursions to the beach with all the supplies you need. Food and drink are always available.
Food and drinks: All restaurants are five star and the servers are fantastic.

We've been to the Ritz Carlton on several occasions but today 10/12/2024 was our official 10 year wedding anniversary & we were fortunate enough to be able spend it at the exact place we were married 10 years ago. Wow. Our experience continues to be wonderful.
Check in is 4pm but we arrived around noon and Ari at the front desk was exceptional. She not only professionally got our information but was so welcoming that she understood our history with the property and upgraded our room reservations and offered an ocean view dinner reservation at Raya. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration. You're the best!
We had a great time relaxing in the Jacuzzi, walking the grounds, and just sitting at the lobby fireplace people watching. All staff are courteous and great you with a nice hello, good morning/afternoon/evening. Kindness goes a long way.
We plan to be back with the kids in the very near future.

Impeccable service!
Breathtaking walking path. Authentic Indian and tantalizing Raya bar menu.
Kudos to Georgi and his team in the F&B. The agents, especially Nathan, at check in was top notch as well as the valet and drive team. Never disappointed when I stay with the Ritz in Laguna.

My husband and I had the most AMAZING experience staying here at the Ritz in Laguna! The service of the staff was just amazing. Ary at the front desk was sweet and welcoming and remembered it was our honeymoon and sent us a welcome gift. Alex from F&B was an amazing & also did something very nice for us regarding our honeymoon. We will definitely come back here for years to come for our anniversary. We were blown away by how much we loved staying here! The view is absolutely stunning and the hotel makes it easy to do things around the area.
Nearby activities: They have great services for things to do around the area including complimentary beach amenities that they can shuttle you down to the beach with.
Food and drinks: Raya was absolutely delicious and Conner our server was awesome! We enjoyed our dinner especially the churros for desert and the cheese rolls as an appetizer

Came to the Ritz when I was 18 and dreamed to come here again for my wedding week, and today, that wish came true! Came to the spa with my mom and sister and they treated us exceptionally and made me feel extra special for my big day. Definitely worth the price for the experience!
Lunch at RAYA to follow was delicious and the service from start of our stay to the finish was beyond words. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful grounds and lobby. Exceptional, polite, extraordinarily helpful employees. Went there for the day, 2 days in a row to meet with a family member who was staying at the hotel. Valet parking attendants and front desk staff were kind and helpful in guiding us about where to go and with any questions we had. Super clean bathrooms in the lobby area. Delicious breakfast buffet, a gorgeous view of the ocean. A wonderful experience, highly recommend a visit for breakfast or lunch if you've never been here!

Rooms are not worth $100. Terrible beds and bedding quality was poor. The location is great. Overall an old facility. Service was mediocre compared to other less expensive accommodations.

Know this going in. This Ritz is very expensive. It is worth every penny. It is great for special occasions. They have weddings, been to one there some time back, they have wonderful rooms for receptions, rehearsal dinners and meetings. Done all of that. We have also been there just for vacation.
This was a vacation trip with family and friends and things could not have been more perfect. The hotel sits atop a seaside bluff, surrounded by views of the Pacific and the sandy shores below,
It is just a coastal haven where you never need to leave if you don't want to. It is ever so relaxing. Each room is perfect.
Parking is by valet for a fee. Check in is easy and the staff is so wonderful and they do speak different languages if you need that. Our bags were in our room before we were in and the AC was on. Ask for turn down service.
The rooms are large and so comfortable. Many have views of the Pacific and the beds are the best. Each room is spotless and the housekeep staff is so nice and will take good care of you.
The eateries are the best.
They have a great gym and they have ever spa service you can imagine.
There really is nothing just like this in this area. You will be in heaven.

We stayed at the Ritiz this past weekend and expected a lot. The check in process was tedious as they “upgraded” to a room with double beds (we were there for our delayed anniversary celebration)! Finally they “found” a room with a coastal view. The views were great but the room had stains on the ceiling (looked like water leaks) and there was a strange layer of dust on the closest door I had to clean up. The hallways were dated and dirty. The room itself looked old and dated as well. Also, I forgot an item and left messages with the hotel but it seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to look or respond with calls! Horrible service. The best part are the views and the food at Raya was wonderful. Otherwise don’t waste your money here. For the price I’d expect higher quality and more attentive service.
