Over priced and the the old guy working there is rude. Avoid this place. Theres a lot of other places to get drinks at a reasonable price with a better attitude.

Convenient, privately owned. They have Harbor hours, so they close early. Next door to Killer Dana

This little store is perfect for this area. It's within walking distance of the hotel and has almost everything you could possibly need for the night. Needed alcohol for my vacation and didn't have to drive. It's literally a win/win situation. Would definitely come back. Also, the man at the counter was really sweet.

The owner is a crook. I tried to buy a box of wet wipes which was marked for $7. I was charged $10 and he tried to remove the label of the price. I asked what he was doing and he said “oh just removing”. At that moment, I noticed that he had overcharged me. I asked him to honor the price and he just told me he would just remove the price tag. I asked him to give me a refund and he did… not for the full amount of my purchase though.Based on the other reviews, this is a common occurrence here. I’d avoid at all costs.

This is *exactly* what happened. I've been coming here for scratchers or a Hot Spot to follow while I'm doing my walks at the Dana Harbor. I'm ALWAYS EXTRA nice to the employees. I say "hello", "thank you, sir" and "Have a good day/evening", so I'm totally blown away at the disrespect I experienced. I handed in a $10 scratcher. He asked me "Do you want the same?" and I said "Yeah, if you have it". Instead of the white and gold ticket I handed to him he hands me a totally green one that looks nothing like what he should have handed to me, so I said "What is this? This is a different one". He says "I don't have it". I said "You asked me if I want the same one... and in fact you have it right there by the door in the self-serve scratcher machine". He just smiles this huge smile and says nothing as if it's his right to choose what scratcher I should get. WTH? I said in an upset tone at this point "I don't want this one" and put it back on his counter top. I do research online of what winning tickets are left on any given scratcher so I know what I want, and that's not even the point, it's my choice not his! He was NOT budging and was trying to make me feel like I was somehow in the wrong and he was in the right and didn't do anything wrong. So after going back and forth and back and forth, all the unnecessary arguing that fell on deaf ears (just give me the ticket I want that you have, what the heck!?) I took the ticket because it was either leave with no ticket or leave with that one, and left for the bathroom before my walk. I scratched the ticket and of course it was a l**** ticket which, of course, upset me more. I started to go on my walk, but this just wasn't right. This wasn't right! This was a weird power play. An offensive transaction. He should have ASKED ME if I wanted a substitution ticket to which I would have reminded him he has them in the machine by the door, so just give me the $10 cash so I can get it there. So I went right back. I told him what he did was WRONG. I told him it's even worse that he's just smiling and laughing the whole time in my face, too. Another customer came from the back. The liquor store employee DARED try to twist the story of what happened!!! NOW I was PISSED. The shopper raised his hands and said he wants no part of it. I yelled "He's changing the story because a customer is here now!". Man, all I wanted was my scratcher and now all this drama!! At this point I started crying out of frustration and being made to feel like I'm a worthless piece of _ who isn't worth getting something I paid for. I cried telling him how NICE I ALWAYS am to him and his other employees for the couple of years I have been going there, and I didn't even tell him I'm STILL nice to them even when they are cold and emotionless and don't even respond to my kindness (yes, it hurts, but I let it go every single time). I said "You didn't even say you were sorry!" to which he sheepishly said "Sorry", yeah too late, ya think!?? I told him he should have just taken the $10 loss with his decision to give me a different ticket. So then he dared to look at the ticket and saw it was scratched and tried making THAT the issue when I had just had a long argument with him about all of this before I left 5 minutes earlier!! Obviously I scratched it because he made it clear he wasn't going to give me the ticket I asked and argued for!!!!!!!! THAT was evil. So then I look in his scratcher case and GET THIS..... I see he's in the process of refilling the empty spot with a whole new batch of the ticket I asked for!!! So I yelled "AND you're a LIAR! You have a whole new batch of the ticket I asked for 5 minutes ago!!!" This was an outright weird power play and it was ugly. I will never go back. People who act like this need to be called out. We can all make mistakes, but this was outr

Owner and son are DISHONEST. They overcharged me twice, and I overlooked as a mistake until I was overcharged a third time. I purchased a half gallon of bleach, and they charged me $10.00!!I highly recommend you avoid patronizing.

What a charming little market. They have everything, from chips, snacks, of course, liquor, and lottery tickets! Steve, the owner, couldn't do enough for me. He even packed all my goodies so it would be more convenient for me to carry! Nice store & nice Owner

A quaint liquor store that's conveniently located close to the beach! I always make a stop whenever I'm in the area. Parking is plenty most of the year (minus the hot summer days/afternoons). This place has a little bit of everything - from snacks and candy to basic beach stuff and first aid items or daily necessities (bandaids, Tylenol, shampoo, etc.) Their selection of wine and beer's great too -- they carry a small but great selection of IPAs from breweries in SoCal. Owners are friendly and patient as well! :)

Super Stop cured my craving for an ice lolly whilst walking around the Dana Point Harbour! The (husband and wife?) owners have extreme patience: while I was in the shop, two groups of rowdy teenagers all came in, looking at the liquor, and (loudly) talking about how they wanted a beer. Thank goodness they have four security cameras to keep people from walking out the back door? Two cases of popsicles and ice cream right up front for a nice hot day!

It's a small little liquor store about 200 yards from the Marina Inn. The prices and selections are not too bad. The convenience of how close it is to Marina Inn is what gives this beer, wine, liquor store the 4 stars.
