I’ll quickly review the store and then get onto the star of the show.Store is clean and bathrooms were well-maintained, and one of the employees helped me find a nail file for my fiancée because we all know I’m not finding that stuff. But I get up to the front and instead of waiting for a self-checkout to open, I’m greeted by Robert. Now Robert kindly greets me and quickly gets right to ringing up my order. He’s extremely polite and efficient, and asks for my CVS rewards number. He then lets me know about all of the savings that I have accrued on my account and asked if I wanted to apply it. This guy saved me like 50% off my order by selecting the right coupons together to discount my purchase. But I’m not really even here to rave about that. It was his upbeat, energetic, and professional attitude that really sealed the deal for me. Robert, you clearly take great pride in your work and I have to commend you for that. Thanks dude!

Be careful here. They sell damaged merch and refuse to replace, for example magazine with pages ripped out and gift cards that are not valid.

If you can go some where else do so. The staff who are there to help are thugs and extremely impolite.

I called CVS pharmacy in Dana Point (off Golden Lantern) talked to someone at the pharmacy she got all your personal information, but did not help me to answer my question, instead she kept saying hello, hello, hello, pretending that she could not hearing me and then hung up the phone on me.

I’d give a zero if possible. The pharmacist was extremely rude and would not honor a good RX prescription discount. Apparently their pharmacy got in trouble for using the good RX but he actually would not honor it and I had to go to another CVS location and have my doctor rewrite the prescription. That makes no sense to me. Why would another location honor it no problem and this Terrible customer service, and he had an attitude. I also had my 18 month old baby with me he seriously was going to make me drive to the other side of town Because he wanted to charge me full price. He said he was hired to clean up the problem with discounting prescriptions. Not really sure what ego trip he’s on or what he’s trying to accomplish besides losing customers.

Rude staff put me on hold to call in a prescription. Then hung up. Tried to call back and would not pick up.

I had a 2:30pm vaccine shot appointment at CVS, made online last week. I received a TEXT reminder at 1:11pm. I showed up at 2:25p and was told CVS is out of vaccine. They've been out at this location since last week, I'm told. So I wasted my time to drive to the store AFTER being reminded of an appointment by CVS, yet CVS doesn't have the vaccine. Then at 2:51 PM, I received a text message apologizing because CVS has to cancel my appointment--21 minutes after the appointment time. CVS: Get your act together, please. Your text message system is TERRIBLE.

Management went above & beyond to fix a situation. When prices increased, and staff didn't inform me insurance wouldn't cover the increase, Austin took the time to credit the overcharge & charge me under Good Rx. I appreciate him helping me save money on a prescription.

I spoke with a very knowledgeable, professional, and caring pharmacist this morning. He gave me some excellent advice about how to get an important, but apparently countywide low in stock drug prescription filled at the actual home pharmacy in San Diego area. The home pharmacy associate had originally said that there was no availability throughout San Diego County. Thanks to this Dana Point pharmacist we called the San Diego home pharmacy right back and were able to get that prescription re-filled ( a few pills less than the full prescription) within a few hours of my conversation with him. I cannot thank you enough!

Just look at the pic. The worst CVS Pharmacy line I've ever seen is here. Employees are fine, but they need more.

There are so many sale tags, it is impossible to see the product. inefficient for store workers and makes amazon the source of choice.

This by far is the worst pharmacy i have ever been at, they are rude, when you try and say something the pharmacist says find another pharmacy. He obviously has not been trained on customer service 101, the staff are like deer in a headlight. What a pathetic staff and leadership here, if I was the owner of this place I would get rid of them all, as it comes from the top and these pharmacist think they are holier than thou!I can only go to one star, geez!

Rapidly deteriorating store and service. The do-it-yourself checkout stations do not recognize the special prices. The attendant clerk would not check out the machine or manually check out several customers and myself. The machine would not recognize my CVS card. Something happened to this store. The special tags on the vitamin shelves actually cover up the product. The shelves are not check for items sold out. CVS previously was pretty good, but this one is not on my shopping list any more. A few employees are trying to submit glowing Yelp reviews, but this is just nonsense. By the way, the product that I was going to buy is already half the price on Amazon and about 2/3 the price at Rite-Aid.
