This review is for all of Bank of America. I have had so many problems with their attitudes, and incompetency that it is ridiculous. They are so desperate for customers that they don't seem to want to let me go. several months ago I sat in the office at the Ocean Ranch, Dana Point, CA branch for 45 minutes to close the account. A couple months later I noticed that the account never closed despite my paperwork to show it was closed. So, I got on the chat. But nope a couple months later, it is still open. Today I waited on hold for 30 minutes before I could speak with someone. He told me that the maintenance charge incurred after I closed the account needs to be removed before it can be closed, and a request has been put in for that to happen. BUT IT WAS ALREADY CLOSED! So now I will wait and see if anyone is competent enough to properly fulfill that request and really close the account this time.

What kind of a bank doesn't accept cash . American money legal tender . This bank that's who what a joke . I came here to deposit money in my friends bank account and they wouldn't accept cash deposit. I hope this kinda cashless society doesn't continue I would never have a bank account at Bank of America for this reason

They took my payment 3 times for my credit card out of my account & told me it will take at least 10 days for a refund back to my account. When I went into the bank, I was told they have nothing to do with credit cards and people frequently overpay so no checks and balances from their side. Wouldn't help with overdraft, etc. if charges were automatically coming out of my account due to their error.

This is the WORST bank branch in the county! They have such stupid hours. They are closed on weekends and only open M-F 10am to 4pm. I work week days from 8-5 so I don’t know how they expect people to do banking? I arrived there at 4:01pm and they shut the door in my face. Folks ought to work a little harder for customers

If you're a business owner, go somewhere else. I've been with bank of america for over a decade, am enrolled in every "Preferred Business" program they have, etc...which they love to sell you all the upgrades...but when I need something, or what to take advantage of a loan offer they sent me via mail, they are horrible at communication. Started out great, but the customer service here is terrible for my two small businesses.

The terrible part of this review is the person that gave me a terrible service , was promoted, and some of the others that worked in the same branch, who were horrible to clients have been rewarded too by given more responsibilities , higher positions and more money, BOA never cared to respond to my complain or any other complains from anyone , they are a bank that really don't care about their clients, so give them as little business as you can ...or no business at all .

Not sure why anyone still banks with this company. They're light years behind other banks. They hold deposited checks from reputable corporations for up to 10 days? Who has that luxury of time? Was told by a representative that $200 of my funds would be available today. That has not been the case. Will be closing account and banking elsewhere once my check clears. Good riddance.

called b of a customer service and the person who answered asked me zero verifying questionsal, which is usually standard with any bank...and when i ask why she did not ask any, she said she has all my information in front of her (in a creepy way). she then called me by my first name when usually a rep is to addrss you with mrs or mr and use the last name...she said i hope it's _____ (and calls me by my first name again) SUPER SKETCHIE! I ended the call and now I am thinking of closing my b of a account entirely...that kind of lack of security and trust in a bank...is poison to b o a. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR REPS to be much more security based and respectful. Thank you

This branch is a total zoo - they have no clue about customer service. CJ Burlingame needs a lot more training - maybe banking is not for him.

Very slow and no one cares there! Was there today and several employees around and only one actively helping. Terrible service level with little acknowledgement that the line is reaching the door! Makes you realize it might be time to find a new bank after being a long time client!
