They had a promo where you get a free streaming stick. I lost the streaming stick. When I ended my service, they charged me $80 for the "free" streaming stick. Wave/astound is a scam that price gouges its customers.They said to private message them so they could help me but there is no place to private message them anywhere. I called them and the representative was not helpful at all.

The installation and setup was amazing. The mesh wifi is performing well. There are known connectivity issues with the Eero modem and the Apple iPhone IOS— I resolved this on my own, but received no help from your support team or response on this issue.

I actually had a pleasant experience with Astound. Internet was fast, didn't run into too many issues. I had previously tried xfinity and it didn't work due to a house issue. A technician came and said it wasn't very difficult. But I talked with someone from Astound and they spent the time setting it up together. One thing to watch out for is their deals can entice you into signing up at a cheap rate, but becomes expensive after a certain time. Customer service was nice and I had a good experience.

Our Internet service with astound broadband has been off for six or more hours today. We don't have storms or flooding. Though some of CA do. I called Astound but they like the big monolith phone tree we have with all other monoliths in the tech industry text chat support was my lottery. So texting to ask why has it been 6 hours without. There is actually an outage somewhere here. Who knew? But honestly, six hours and no storm??It is now 9pm. Still out

Looking for a new internet provider and saw the advertisements for Astound on the tv. The website asks to enter the address to check for service at the address. After entering the address, it does not tell you if they have service in the area. It then ask for your name, email, address and phone number. I entered all the information. It then says someone will contact you. 24 hours later, no response. I will not be using Astound. I can only imagine how it will be if you need help after you are a customer.

Wanted to really give this company a try based on their advertised price for $25 a month for home internet but ended up being a text book example of you get what you pay for/bait and switch. The website was easy enough to set up an install and thought it would be straightforward but nope not at all. Day of install the installer calls and cancels during my 2hr wait window and the rescheduled date was a week later? Wtf??? Also the advertised price is deliberately confusing and doesn't mention additional fees. When I called customer service, it's clearly a poor call center as my call was "dropped" with no call back twice. Clearly you get what you pay for and I couldn't wait an additional week for the install and the infuriating customer service and went with xfinity that had me set up same day and I could talk to an actual person. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. Perhaps if you can tolerate their infuriating customer service and install you could maybe get a good deal on internet.

I need internet for work. Yesterday I lost internet in the morning. I called and they said service outage until 12, then 2, then 4, then 7.30pm. At 10.30 when I called I was told I must have a problem with my equipment. Today, they don't prioritize me. I have to wait until tomorrow. It takes 15 MNS to get a human to answer a call. And while their outage destroyed modems they just wait for you to call for service. And then can't come same day. You get what you pay for. Internet on a good day.

I have been with this company since RCN to Astound to Wave. Their prices for internet/cable is becoming to much. They no longer price match or take care of long time customers Thru good and bad we stuck with them. To bad was a great company. Time to go else where

I am writing a second review on Astound and now dealing with their billing service. Today, Nov 15 I paid my bill of $325.79, double my normal bill. When I paid the October fee, I notice that it had a remaining balance due of $206.00!!!! I canceled my service on Nov 8. The statement for October states that the bill ends on the 28th of October, meaning that if I cancelled on Nov 8, I had used their service for 12 days!!! 12 days does NOT equal $206.00!!! at 325.97 for a month, meaning that it's $10.50 per day means I should only pay $126.00 for the last 12 day and NOT the inflated cost of $206.00. They are attempting to charge me for 2/3 the amount that I should pay. Astound and its representative are running a shady business. They provide POOR service, the cable system is outdated, and then their representative Brent M.VOC-Customer Advocacy / Social Media is only rehashing Astound policy and offer no assistance at all. So Astound will cover they a** and still provide BAD service and will take advantage of the customer. STAY AWAYS from Astound, the company is NOT a company you will want to do business with, they deceive their customer and provide poor quality of service and their cable will freeze up and or go off the air while viewing. The internet service requires at least 3 equipment!! Comcast has better service. NEGATIVE 5 stars is the actual rating for this pathetic company. BBB and FCC will be informed and hopeful put an end to Astound/WAVE.
