Worst Sephora I've ever gone to. The security guard was the only person who even looked my way and greeted me. There were workers arranging since it was 45 minutes until closing, but none of them helped even if I just stood there on my phone comparing products. What set me off is when I was next to a lady on a wall with mini perfume sets and she asks her how she's doing and not me, even if I'm literally standing right there. Gave up and headed to the cash register to just grab a gift card instead. This is why I stick to online shopping everywhere but here.

Was told there is men's fragrance so decided to see what they had and was greeted by 3 staff members. All were busy but i felt welcomed. Abby was very helpful and even told me about their holiday promotion for 20% off my purchase. I had no clue as i barely ever go into sephora for men's fragrance, mainly neiman marcus or Macy's but Sephora does have alot of new popular men's fragrances. Abby and sephora staff has great customer service and was very helpful.

We were in your Serramonte Center store to purchase a gift. We were initially assisted by a very pleasant beauty assistant who checked stock for the product we wanted and then directed us to Alyssa Santana at the sales desk. Alyssa was very knowledgeable and professional. She seemed to really enjoy helping guests with their requests as I watched her while we were in line. She listened to our request and made some suggestions that enabled us to purchase the gift. She was GREAT! I loved her very up beat personality. Thank you Alyssa Santana!!

No one bothers to check in with me, there are lots of employees who are just chitchatting and when I was about to go near them they would dip. Luckily I screenshot some lippies from Pinterest. Oh and yeah employees would profile you from head to toe to see if you are worth their time. Ulta would never✌?

My first and last visit to this Sephora :( I made my appointment for the hydra facial and lip treatment. These two services are said to be an hour combined but I was finished in 25 minutes. My facial felt very rushed and many of the employees that I talked to weren’t the most helpful or caring. After my facial, I left this location feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsatisfied. I ended up taking my partner to the Concord location instead of this one the facial experience there was WAY BETTER. The esthetician in Concord took her time and we were in there for over an hour. We also left with samples that she made and recommended for us. During the facial at Concord Sephora, the esthetician even grabbed another serum to use since my partners face soaked up the first one. When this happened to me at this Daly City location, my esthetician just told me I wouldn’t be able to take it home.. Needless to say I regret coming here for my services. I felt overlooked and mistreated. I would not recommend this location to anyone, especially someone of color.

It's really bad when you go shopping and they give the side eye. I'm there to purchase my items and leave the store but I always keep a smile no matter what they should also.

I called two hours ahead of time to make get an appointment for a facial at 4:30pm. I got there at 4:15 let them know I was there early. I noticed some people waiting but I didn’t say anything. The lady who was supposed to do my facial told me she “was running a LITTLE late” I said no problem I’ll wait. Then I saw her start working on someone and 15 minutes went by. I told her my appointment was at 4:30pm and I noticed she was not running a little late. She double booked and had a whole appointment ahead of mine. I told her I couldn’t stay and she did not care she said that’s fine. I asked to speak to the manger and she did not care either. They both did not care for my time for my loyalty and for the thousands of dollars I’ve spent at Sephora. I asked the manger if I can get a discount since they were the ones who double booked me and lied about being on time. The manger went to the back and asked another manager and that person DID NOT CARE EITHER and said no. By this time I was there for over an hour, wasted my evening. This Sephora has horrible customer service experience. Never going back. Telling my friends not to shop there either.

Good sephora, very little staff (just one person) that doesn’t really care to talk to client or help out. That’s fine though cause honestly you can just grab whatever and leave with it for ~free~ (ikyk)

Inconsistent. I haven't been inside a Sephora in long time since I buy everything online but today I remembered why. I walked in and a bunch of employees were socializing up front and no one greeted myself or the people behind me. I was looking for Laneige and an employee corrected my pronunciation in the most passive way which I found hilarious and rude all at the same time. I grabbed what I needed and the friendly employee with long hair and blue contacts saved my experience. She offered great customer service with a friendly demeanor and charisma. I wish the rest of the staff held the same standards but you can't expect much from retail stores these days I guess.

Not a single person helped me as I was roaming around like a lost puppy. It can be intimidating just stepping into the store, don't have your employees make it worse.

Well-organized beauty product selection. Pricey, but the items Sephora offers are top notch. I personally buy Urban Decay products there.Parking in the lot adjacent to the store is usually packed weekends and weekday afternoons.

Worst service ever. Made my daughter cry when picking up an item we bought online. And it took over 20 minutes to pick up an item that was ready.

Myself and a girlfriend of mine dropped in today to do some shopping. From the time we walked in the door they watched us being people of color. But I overlooked that and went on to ask for a few perfumes to try on. To see what I'd like best. The watching continued needless to say I felt the need to leave the store instead of purchase from the store. And on top of it it was the manager who was following us around. I would have hoped they would have had better training and how to deal with different cultures. We can't visit our own insecurities due to race religion or Creed on to others. Especially when you're in a place of business. It's just ridiculous needless to say I won't be visiting Sephora out at Serramonte anymore! Get up with the times it's 2023 not 1865. We no longer are picking cotton we're now picking fragrances out of Sephora message one.

The employees at this location are SO RUDE. I am never greeted by any of the employees. I asked for a sample of a foundation and the employee rudely told me they don't do that and that they changed their policy. I went to a different location & asked the same thing and they said they still give foundation samples!! Yeah would rather go somewhere else.
