This sandwich place really disappointed me and wasn't worth my time at all I asked the man behind the counter to make me a sandwich and he looked at me like a stole something from him. he started making my sandwich and talking to a friend for about 5 mins it looked like he was more happy chatting with his friend then seeing customers that support his business he treated me like trash and like I needed something from him and not a customer supporting his business I will never go there again poor services , rude clerk food on shelves were blocked by boxes. experience a 0 sandwich a 2

Great sandwiches, very nice owner. Just down the street from my place. I used to go to Little Lucca's, but since I don't drive anymore, this is just as good. I go about twice a week. I pay an extra $3.00 for more meat.

If you are not a longtime customer of the place they will treat you rudely, the owner and his wife are extremely rude, the guy who is on the night schedule is also extremely rude. I don't understand how they have been in the market all these years, here in the Bay Area people are used to having terrible service in stores

I was in Pacifica and found that location to be sold out of sandwiches but with Daly City just a stone's throw away when you have your trusty 4-wheeled steed, I hotfooted it to this location. Miss Tomato is a first for me (I was intrigued by the 5 star review for the Pacifica location) and for a moment I was second guessing myself when I saw it was inside a corner liquor store with a guy hanging outside, but all is pushed aside when I'm hangry, which I was. I got the Flying Dutchman and a Pastrami, both on a sweet roll. The guy making the sandwiches did a super job on balancing the condiments with the ingredients (not too soggy, not too dry) and had a sense of humor as he presented me with my Dutchman and "tuna". Ok, had me for a second ! Nice that there's still people wanting to make a connection; I definitely appreciate that. Suffice it to say, totally changed my initial opinion of possible Bad Decision to making this a place I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again to eat my way through the menu. Face it, where in these times can you get a sandwich this size, this heft, this fresh, and this packed for $11?? Nowadays I don't even blink at $15+ for a meager "artisan" sandwich, but I was blown away with these two sando batons that could take down a mugger. I don't regret not getting a sandwich from their Pacifica location because truth be told, more likely I'll be passing by Daly City and grabbing a sandwich & some drinks & snacks from there takes guesswork out of my decision.

This is the second miss tomato location that I've tried and they're owned by relatives, which is pretty cool to me. You can find some street parking nearby and run in to get your order along with a drink, chips or any of your Market store needs. The menu has plenty of options and I can say that the bread is soft and fresh, even the Dutch crunch which is crucial for me lol. I got the el gringo calienta sandwich on Dutch crunch with a few ingredients excluded. The flavor was on point and wasn't too spicy but it had enough to earn the name. The sandwich isn't too big but the price isn't bad at all. Service wasn't super quick but nobody should be in such a rush that they can't take the time to talk to the worker/owner, which I did. Very pleasant experience and it was refreshing to tell the business owner that they have good food and that I support their hustle 1000% I don't come to the area often for work but this day I was near and planned this lunch sandwich in advance.

Horrible customer service. The owner yelled at me when I called to find out if they allowed a change to my order. He did not have to yell and could have been professional about it

My new favorite deli. This place is a hidden gem. Lived in DC all my life and how did I not know about this place? Totally flies under the radar. Favorite sandwich so far are the Wasabi Beef and the Monica Special.

Top tier sandwiches 4 out of 4 sandwiches have been stellar so far. They really don't miss. Shop owner is really nice too. Definitely coming back many more times to finish out the menu.

Such a genius idea to put a deli inside of a liquor store (NY has been doing it for decades, why the holdup CA?) The Pacifica location apparently sells out around midday, so I would suggest calling both stores to make sure they have ingredients in stock, since they likely don't housemake much inside a liquor store. Regardless of whether or not everything is housemade, they have damn tasty sandwiches here and an extensive menu. The Monica's Special (4/5) was a turkey-cranberry creation, and was generously stuffed. We also enjoyed the Spicy Mama (5/5) for its saucy, chicken-stuffed goodness. Sandwiches are large and plentiful here. I do wish that we had more transparency on how these sandwiches are made/what kind of ingredients are in them, because I definitely heard something get chucked in a microwave lol, but maybe ignorance is bliss in a liquor-store-deli.
