Just noticed their renovated interior and exterior of the store. Family run store and they been there forever since I can remember when I went to Jefferson High and back then in the 80s can't forget about the Arcades they had inside. A great neighborhood store.

All of this markets, Internet advertisement and information about this place shows that they are open until 2 AM. I drove over 10 miles and when I arrived at 12:15 they were closed so don’t believe what they say.

This place is an institution in and of itself. Mid-City Market is just that bodega you get the typical things you would go for a bodega/corner store. But after coming here for 10 years, it's always fun talking some smack with the owner. He is a great dude. There has been a newfound love for the fact that this spot started selling simple premade sandwiches like salami and Colby cheese, and their newest and football sized turkey, ham, and pepper jack cheese sando (both sandos has mayo and mustard). For a guy like me that just wants a simple meat & cheese sando, this place is nailing it! And without costing $15 bucks for just a sandwich. All of us in the Bay have enough options for fancy pants sandos everywhere. I love how the owner is trying to make new sandos now, which he and/or his wife makes every day!

This little store next to the Lucky is definitely the place to get your bulk food in Daly City. Amazing prices, and fast, efficient lanes and cashiers.
