Holy mother of god, the experience I had here today was surreal. It was like being in the Twilight Zone. I only wanted to see if I could buy a vape to tide me over for a few days. Neither the woman nor the man working there was able to understand or speak English beyond the most rudimentary level. She couldn’t understand “Do you sell vapes or e-cigarettes here?”. They couldn’t understand, “How much does it cost?”.I honestly can’t imagine what kind of moron would hire these people to work in a customer service capacity.

Man at the front was nice. He verbally welcomed me welcomingly inside and offered any help to me and any other customers courteously. He was a great conversation. I have made two best friends at the front thanks to this store and I always come back.

The "Loop Market" is the food mart of the Shell gas station at 390 Hickey Blvd, in Daly City. This place has two Yelp listings....one is for the Shell station as a whole, and this one for the food mart. Oddly, the Loop Market has lower ratings. I think it's because the Loop Market includes the car wash. I was here the other day, and I decided to go inside and get a sandwich. This Loop Market is really nice. It's flashy and modern. It has beautiful displays and all kinds of modern dispensers. The customer service island is in the center as you walk in. Everything is crammed into this island. Customers have to figure out where's the cashier? Where's the counter for hot food? There were 3 people working, and they were tripping over each other. I bought two 1/4-lb hotdogs that were beyond their holding times. But they were still edible and juicy. When I ordered them, the young lady handed me two hotdog buns and then just stood there. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. Do I help myself? She asked if I wanted her to put the hotdog on the bun. Well, how do I reach in and get the hotdog from the warmer? It's little things that make life so frustrating. Untrained clerks.I didn't use the car wash. Mechanical car washes can damage your car's finish. If you use it, immediately check for damage. Otherwise it's a great location near I-280, Kaiser offices, and apartment complexes.

I got gas here 5 times in a row and every time I fill up, I have to go inside to get my receipt. Just adds the darn paper. This gas station too cheap to refill their receipt tapes outside.

This is a formal complaint about the store management Rocio. This lady has absolutely no skills to be a store management. On the evening of November 24th, I took my car to the car wash at this location which is located at 398 Gellert Blvd. When I finished washing the car and went back to the garage, something terrible happened. I found a lot of scratches and paint peeling on the front right side of the car, my car even went from a shiny finish to a matte finish. I immediately went back to gas station and tried to report the issue to their staff, But I was told that their manager wasn't there, none of these people knows how to handling my situation, they asked me to come back and talk to their manager on Friday. On Friday afternoon I returned to the same place and was told that their manager was not there. After some tossing and turning, I was told that their manager worked at another store which is located at 390 Hickey Blvd. I reached out to the management Rocio by phone and tried to explain my situation to her, but instead of trying to understand the cause of the matter, she was very indifferent to me and told me that they're not responsible for any damage caused by the car wash. I had to go to her place of work and show her how my car was doing. She threw the car wash incident report form right in my face instead of saying Hello. I took her to my car and tried to show her where it had been scratched, but was met with a cynical look on her face, she even tried to pass the buck by saying that the scratches on my car weren't from their car wash. Really? Rocio, do you really think you will knows my car better than myself? She even tried to tell me that they posted a disclaimer outside the car wash and told me that I can go to take a photo if I like. But hey! However, the disclaimer does not mean that you do not need to maintain your equipment to cause all this damage to my car even though I have followed the rules. All right, I completed the car wash incident report form and asked her when I would hear back, but I was told " I DON'T KNOW" on every single question I had asked after I had the incident form get completed. "Nothing else I can do it for you, your situation are took over from our corporate office now" she said. Mrs Rocio, as a store manager, do you feel your attitude, your ability to work, and your customer service are really what a manager should be? Based on your attitude and ability to deal with problems, I will definitely follow up my situation, if you don't want to deal with it, I'll deal with your corporate office, if your corporate office doesn't want to deal with it, I'll go over to the Best Business Bureau. Because I believe customers should be treated as they should be treated.

Each wash only takes around six minutes and no worries about a missing license plate, scratched rims or broken mirrors.

Went a few minutes out of my way to go to this gas station instead of one less out of my way, to go to the "convenient" store and pick up some stuff. Only to find the door locked at a "convenient" store, and a useless cashier staring at me from behind the cash register like a confused deer in the headlights. Since the gas was already running, and almost full I let it finish. But I most certainly will never come back even during daylight hours to support this overpriced gas an not-convenient, convenience store that locks there doors and instead go out of my way to the real ghetto, where I can go to a 7-11 or Wawa 24hours a day 365/year even during the Purge

Do NOT get your car washed here! First time here and I spent $13 (the most expensive option) for the wash. At the end I hear a loud Boom on top of my car. When I parked to take a look not only was the weather stripping OFF on BOTH sides the car was still Dirty!! Never again Hickey Daly City Loop!

Waited an hour for a car wash, followed all directions, only for it to spray my car for a few seconds when my car got up there. Had to go inside for help then GET BACK in line with a new code because they won't do refunds and I didn't want to waste money (also sunk cost fallacy and all that). I highly doubt I'll ever come back.
