Today, I am going to give this place a review from my experience from shopping here. I never could give this place an excellent review bc I already had bad experiences before From employees, cleanliness, and organization my opinion will never change! Pros:- Toys "R" Us Cons:- Always messy!- I barely find anything I like at this location. - A black lady dressed in black with gold jewelry, and a purple turban yelled at the Filipino old man for coughing in the Levi's dept. As a customer looking for deals, I was caught in the middle watching this argument unfold. I just don't understand why Macy's employee is trying to be COVID cautious when barely anybody is wearing a mask. She is not wearing a mask or wearing gloves either if she is trying not to be COVID cautious. From the argument, her Levis dept is still a disaster when I left. She is still organizing denim from the shelves. -

See who's back ? I was excited when I saw a familiar mascot. The area of Toys "R" US is super tiny tho... a bit disappointed right after.Overall: fair.

The Serramonte store looks like the Going-out-of-business sale has already begun. This store is the worst dump I've ever seen, and I've been a Macy's customer for decades! In the men's department, clothes were strewn on the floor and tables of merchandise looked like a hurricane blew through. No staff on floor. A few workers at the registers with long lines. They were trying to keep up. Awful!

I like this MACY'S a lot. The jewelry department is excellent. I buy jewelry here almost exclusively. They have pay-over-time with a MACY'S card and Jewelry Repair Plans, which I highly recommend. If you gain and lose weight a lot, the jewelry repair plan allows you to get your rings sized for free. Most of the staff there in jewelry are really nice and helpful, but it is sometimes understaffed and you might have to wait a little to get assistance with your purchases. But when the associates are helping you, they focus on you, not on trying to do a bunch of things at once, or helping a bunch of people at once, which is refreshing. Whenever I've had a return or an exchange or need my jewelry serviced, they are always helpful, including the department manager, he's a good guy.The candy section is undersized and could use some improvement, especially their nearly non-existent Godiva section. If you want a Godiva selection, hit the MACY'S in San Mateo, they have a lot of good selections over there. The makeup departments there are great, I got one of them to do my wedding makeup . This was a few years' back, but if you buy some makeup, it's free.My only other grouse is that sometimes later in the evening, before closing, there is not enough staff to go around, really. Also, for you jewelry fans like myself, be aware that the Jewelry Department closes 1 hour before the store does.

Clinique cosmetic seller here are horrible. They're happy when you purchase but when you return They're give faces and attitude. I try to return face cream and this lady saying " oh no it's from her, she gonna have negative " I'm guessing her bonus ). Anyway she wasn't happy until she know my purchased dated passes 90 days. Then the manager said I can't return but they will take it with lowest price. I paid $90 they want to take it back ( brand new unopen) for $40. I ask her ok. I don't want to return anymore. Please sale me the same item with that lowest price. Sorry we don't have it. Wth.. I would never buy any cosmetic from Macy's anymore. Go to Nordstrom or go direct with Clinique online. They always have 30% off and they always have free Gift too. Don't waste your time with these kind of customers services. Remember you need us! NOT we need you.

Sears under a new name. Three sales people and three different experiences. First young person super helpful and walked me kindly to where I needed to look. Second older woman endless folding pants - I asked a question and she glared at me and when I asked for assistance she said she was busy folding. Okaaaaay? Third checking us out indifferent- simply bored. Selection is limited and the store was a mess. Clearly understaffed. Clothing selections are meh. Macys is on the way out for sure.

Totally disorganized. Fitting rooms full of other peoples' clothes- nowhere to put tried-on clothes. Mundane styles and clothes. Chased out of fitting room by lady who said it was an online fitting room only(!). No signs to say that. Some shelves totally empty - a bad sign.I recommend you go to a decent store instead where you will be helped personally (smaller, local stores for example): Macy's isn't that much cheaper anyway, but the experience feels very "cheap" in all the wrong ways

I have been with Macy's for A long time and always trusted the people and the quality products. Now on yelp, this location does not have good reviews, but just because of Ingrid (backstage dept), I will give it four stars. As we know, life has changed, and now mostly, I shop online. In May, right before m, I found a department called Back Stage and quickly bought a gift for a baby who turned one year old this week. As soon I came back, I heard that one year and three years Siblings have Covid. Of course, I am sad, and the reason I am telling you that how badly communication was done at the check out the place. All I asked her was I didn't need the money back, give me either a gift card or let me change the size of the clothes. Two ladies responded loudly, the baby had a Covid, and you bought it at the end of May??? Their response was thunderous and disappointed me; I was like, who are you, ladies, thank you for not responding as a human. I said I needed to see someone who could understand how Macy's employees treated me. Thank God Ingrid came and listened to the details with patience, and she is sorry that the baby is sick and hoping for her excellent recovery. I said I don't want my money back, and the clothes were on the same hangers with the price tags. I have other stuff to buy, but I decided not to shop at Macy's anymore. Ingrid apologized to other employees and asked me if I should buy more stuff, which I did. Again like to say thank you, Ingrid and Macy's are fortunate to have you as a team member. All we need is patience and humility to listen to each other. Thank you for reading this email, and hoping things will be better next time. Thanks

I went into the store looking for cologne and was nicely greeted by a cute friendly worker named Marissa, in the Dior section. She gave me multiple testers to smell to see which one I would of liked. As I was looking at their Dior Sauvage cologne, she said it was the most popular one she had sold, liked and recommended so I went with that and also went ahead with the purchase of their Prada Carbon cologne as well. Had a nice great scene to it. I really enjoyed my short visit to that Macy's section as Marissa was very friendly, helpful and giggly. Was very helpful throughout my purchase and visit.

This review is about the customer service I received today. I went in to find something for a birthday gift. The kines were extremely long, so I went to another person who had no one infront of her, she said go to the purse area , then this women/ man dude told me go to another checker across the store who had like 8 people in line. I don't get it..I Wont be sad when serramonte macy goes away like sears or jc penny. This place used to be ok but seems like they took mc Donald employees from up the street, this area needs a attitude adjustment and need to learn how to talk Filipino to get help

Jewelry department was lazy and wasn't helpful at all they basically told me to go away and didn't want to help me with my return. The new workers who was young was asking for help from the older folks but didn't want to deal with it. This is why i hate Macy's

I don't normally write reviews on department stores but I was really impressed with customer service at the Serramonte Macy's. Dayvon (might be the manager) and another female assistant (wish I got her name) were so helpful, calm and patient, as they tried to problem solve my paper store credit from 2 years ago. Returns were quick and easy. Although it was bit of a wait, I can see both staff calling and discussing my situation and both remained friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the outcome and just wanted to give credit to these two incredible staff. Thank you!
