This guy knows his stuff! Fast work at a very good price! I almost went to the dealer and I'm so glad I remembered Electra Auto repair first! I once had Jimmy fix my power windows in my Ferrari back in 1993 when I was 21 years old, saved me a bundle from going to the dealer back then and today as I was just in town visiting my parents and needed a quick repair on my newer vehicle.

This place has excellent mechanics! We repaired here our Camry Le engine, transmission and air condition. Excellent results , clean and friendly personnel! Highly recommend!But this place can do all kind of automotive repair!

Honest and fair prices, the only words you need to hear for an auto repair shop! Jimmy is an honest man. Doesn't push for more than what is needed. Even when the dealer recommended a repair, Jimmy gave a professional opinion that the repair isn't necessary for the short term and to save my money. Honest honest man!

My Camry was broken in the middle of the street due to a worn timing belt. The water pump also likely needed to be replaced. This happened on the day with the hazardous air quality in San Francisco last year. I called Jimmy for help. He is the most professional, reliable, and skillful car technician I've ever met. My car was towed to his shop, the water pump was inspected, and the timing belt had been repaired in a few hours. I appreciate Jimmy's help. Thank you, Jimmy!

I found this place thru my roomie. He used to have a car that was falling apart and spoke highly of the service and the prices at Electra. I drive a polished turd (Fiat 500 Abarth) and have not only been ripped off by corporate Fiat but the service across multiple Fiat Dealerships has been shockingly horrid. After so much stress with my car I decided to try Electra and I'm so relieved that I did. It's easy to get to from SF via a couple different routes. The service is quick as can be and he offers amazing prices. When it comes to cars, it's easy to get ripped off, especially, when you just really need something fixed. However, when I come here, I always feel like it is a worthwhile transaction. I got a tune-up there, and he only fixed what really needed to be fixed on my low mileage car. It cost me much less than the minimum quote by Fiat. Recently, my check engine light came on right around the time I needed to bring it to a smog certification place. He replaced a sensor within a few hours and told me to feel free to swing back by, after driving it around a couple days, if I wanted him to hook up the computer to make sure it's ready for smog (As I'm sure most of you know, a car will not pass smog unless it has been driven around a bit after a check engine light reset). This place is is small but great!!! Feels good to have a trusted place to take my car.

Yesterday I found out my car has been leaking oil for a week without me realizing it was happening. This morning I quickly drove to a place that was recommended to me only to find out they wouldn't be able to see me until Monday. I continued to search for an auto repair place that could take my car but most places either didn't answer or couldn't see me until Monday as well. I came across Electra Auto Repair and saw the great reviews on Yelp, so I gave them a call and to my surprise was told they had time to see me. I ended up leaving my car there for a couple hours so they could figure out what was wrong and then they gave me a call letting me know what the issue was and that they could order a part to fix it. Within a few hours my car was fixed and I was told to drive it for a week, and if the leaking began again to bring the car back in if needed. Overall, had a great experience and am so relieved my car is no longer leaking! It was also much cheaper than I was expecting. Will definitely be bringing my car back here if any problems persist.

Brought my car here on Saturday due to a rattling sound I had in my car for awhile. The mechanic took it for a test drive and said he would he need further inspection. I left the car with them for a few hours and he said he found a loose bolt. He did say I needed new brakes and rotors but other than that, they were quite honest and only charged me for diagnostic. I would def bring my car back here again
