About El Camino Inn
El Camino Inn is a charming old-fashioned roadside motel on Mission Street. The location is a key strength, being less than a quarter-mile from the Colma BART station and near various shops and restaurants. It offers clean and comfortable rooms with very clean white sheets and towels, and well-maintained, perfectly clean bathrooms. Some upgrades are noted, like new showers, flat-panel TVs, and new coffee makers, microwaves, and mini-fridges. The motel is generally quiet and peaceful at night, with friendly owners, free parking, and good WiFi. The rooms are older in design and smaller, and the service is minimal but appropriate. Some areas need improvement: the indoor-outdoor carpets are old, dirty, ripped, and in dire need of replacement. The furniture can be grubby with stuck-on dust, and some rooms have a weird or overwhelming smell from cleaners or air fresheners. Minor maintenance issues like a slow drain or an old showerhead are sometimes noted. Overall, it is viewed as a clean, comfortable, and dependable nightly motel with a reasonable price and readily available rooms, representing good value for what it is. Many guests state they would return with no misgivings.
We are frequent visitors to UCSF. El Camino is clean reasonably priced and has easy access to the freeway.

The place is showing its age but it was super clean! The beds were made nice and neet and the gentleman at the desk was very pleasant.

Nice clean rooms, yes they are a little small but the whole place is older, in good condition but large rooms weren't needed when this piece was built, I really enjoyed the style of the place. I stay here whenever I'm in the area, reasonable rates too. One of my favorite places as far as hotels go.
