The hours posted for this lab are 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm. I went to drop off a stool sample after having the stomach flu for 4 days. I got there at 1:05. They said the lab staff was having lunch and they would not accept my sample. This is unacceptable for a lab that has stated hours inside a major facility. I had to leave for another doctor's appointment so couldn't stay until they arrived back. I don't feel well and this was extremely aggravating and unnecessary. There needs to be a different procedure if they are not there. Now I have to go back again today because the sample has to be in within 24 hours. I am really unhappy about being treated this way--especially when I'm sick.

I don’t understand the 1 star .I love that I don’t have to go downtown to get my labs drawn and the phlebotomists that draws my blood always get it in the first stick instead of the 2-3 that I am used to .I get my results the same day too !

The wait is insanely long, going on an hour this time. Staff seems super spread thin. Considering moving all my care to Stanford because Sutter Daly City is so busy and running behind every time.
