This review is for the deli. If you are going to get some groceries, make sure that you checkout with your groceries first. For every $20 that you buy of groceries, you get a $1 coupon to spend at the deli. The best deal at the deli is the $13.55 self-serve meal combo. They give you a large square take-out box and pre-filled with your choice of either rice or noodles. The four options are fried rice, vermicelli noodles, chow mein and fried rice noodles. The box is about half full at this point. Then, you fill the rest of the box with your choice of meats and vegetables. You can fill the box with as much as you want, as long as it can still be closed at the end. I like that you can get a lot of different flavors in one box. Also, the filled box weighed at least three pounds, and will probably last me 3-4 meals. None of the dishes were labeled, so you have to recognize them by sight. The dishes that were available when I was there were: 1) Roast Duck 2) Fried Chicken 3) Fried Salt & Pepper Pork Chops 4) Fried Fish 5) Fried, Breaded Chicken (?) Katsu 6) Orange Chicken 7) Sweet & Sour Chicken 8) Fried Tofu in House Sauce 9) Mapo Tofu 10) Stir-fried vegetable that I didn't recognize ... okra? 11) Tea Eggs 12) Shell-On Cooked Shrimp 13) Pork knuckles? 14) A pork dish I didn't recognize 15) Beef with Broccoli 16) Steamed Broccoli 17) Steamed Gai Lan 18) Teriyaki Chicken 19) Curry Fish Balls 20) Braised Eggplant with Bamboo 21) Celery, Fish Balls & Baby Corn Stir-Fry 22) Zucchini and mushroom stir-fry 23) Misc. mushroom stir-fry. You can also buy a box of any of the dishes. It's $6.95 for a small box (16 oz), $10.85 for medium (26 oz) and $22.85 for a large box (64 oz). I don't know if they will allow you to mix and match items in these boxes, or if each box needs to contain one item. I liked that I could have an assortment of items. Everything was about the quality you might expect from cheap Chinese buffet, which is exactly I was craving. 1) Chow mein: I wouldn't get this again. The chow mein at Panda Express is a lot better. 2) Fried rice noodles: At least better than the chow mein. 3) Roast Duck: I really like the roast duck because normally if I want to have some duck, I need to buy at least half a duck, which is like $20, but I might only want to eat 2-3 pieces of duck. It's the same duck that they charge $38 / whole duck at the deli. 4) Fried Salt & Pepper Pork Chops: Pretty good 5) Orange Chicken: Essentially equivalent to Panda Express 6) Fried Tofu in House Sauce: Would not get this again 7) Braised Eggplant with Bamboo: Surprisingly good. Would legit get this again. I think next time I would try the fried rice, and get everything else that I got again, except the chow mein and fried tofu. I don't know when the deli opens. I think earlier is better because I think they run out of food. I don't know if they rotate the dishes that are available on different days. There is also a dim sum section. It's $1.65 per piece and $4.60 for 3 pieces, and you can mix and match different pieces. Here's what was available: 1) Sesame Balls 2) Red Bean Balls 3) Spring Rolls 4) Chinese Donuts 5) Deep Fried Shrimp Balls 6) Fried Veggie Dumplings 7) Shrimp Balls in Peppers? 8) Fried Potstickers 9) BBQ Pork Buns 10) Turnip Cake 11) Shumai 12) Shrimp Dumplings 13) Taro Buns 14) Steamed Sponge Cake (Ma Lai Gao) 15) Chicken Feet 16) Steamed Chicken Buns I got a spring roll, a deep fried shrimp ball, a BBQ pork bun and a slice of turnip cake. The spring roll wasn't very good, the shrimp ball was a bit too much of undifferentiated shrimp-like mass. The turnip cake was good but honestly kind not a good deal for such a small piece, and the BBQ pork bun was legit good. Next to the deli there is a frozen section where they sell frozen versions of the deli items. This "counts" as part of the deli, so you can use your coupons on these items! I think this section is destined to be my go-to, because they have all my favorites at the best prices: 1) Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf

This chain supermarket the feel of an amalgam of Chinatown and western supermarket. Specifically, the seafood and made to order areas have the Asian feel. The rest have a more western vibe. Items for sale are also a mix too. Asian spices mixed with the one's you'll find in places like Safeway. In terms of pricing, some items are a little cheaper. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who you find on the floor. Which is typical for every supermarket I've been to.

A wonder land of all foods Asian. Service counter is actually for Customer Service and the person assisting does speak your language.

Love this place. This is where I come and get my Filipino longaniza and Tocino fix. They also carry my milk tea which is hard to find. And have a bakery on the premises, and is very organized . Service is also great, and even with long lines it goes fast.. parking can be a bit of a challenge but with patience you get a spot. So glad I found this place

Horrid experience. Power outage. People were screaming. Old Asian guy directs security guards to close the metal gates to the entrance with shoppers still inside. Unknowingly, this could be a fire hazard.

I purchased a combination lunch box from the deli area couple of days ago - the beef meatballs were FAKE and not made of real meat - they tasted like rubber!!! I certainly don't want to see China's FAKE FOODS showing up in the U.S. markets. I just can't believe Ranch 99 Market would sell FAKE FOOD in the U.S. People, please be aware of things you buy from Ranch 99 Markets.

They usually have everything I want at great prices. The produce is also high quality - most of it lasts longer than other groceries. I also appreciated that they had pandan leaves in the freezer section!

Solid 4 experience. Come early for easy parking as it usually becomes crowded and chaotic closer to noon. The produce is lowest I’ve seen around the Bay but is lower in quality. Check your fruits and vegetables for mold and rot before putting into your basket! They give you some $ coupons after checkout that I like to use immediately day of in their dimsum / food court line. The bbq Bao is tasty.

There were quite a lot of Korean products, so I went grocery shopping before going to the camp site, and the types of fish were definitely fresh. There was no RV parking lot, so I parked and bought the necessary items while shopping in a very small corner. The Chinese Grory market is always worth visiting because there are a variety of six kinds and you can buy Chinese vegetables.I had lunch at Dimsum restaurant right in front of the market and it was very good.

Always love to come to this 99 ranch location even though the parking is a bit inconvenient. This store have way better hot food selection than the FC location.

Ample parking if you go early in the morning. The store has a lot of the things you'd need when going to an asian market. I went for frozen dumplings and packaged dry noodle soup. I also tried their hot dim sum in the deli area, which were good, but probably wouldn't get it again. I got one Har gow ? (small & $1.65 for one piece), one fried shrimp ball, and a small pancake-looking one that has pork/peas/carrots. Each were $1.65, and they weren't hot. I'd rather go to a takeout dim sum place off of Irving or Clement.Ranch 99 market is a good place to find your Asian groceries, but wouldn't necessarily recommend the dim sum.
