Yamaha motor finance customer service is awful. The finance website is awful to deal with. I’ve been unable to log in and view/change anything for over 2 years I’ve been chasing my tail trying to get them to help. It blows mind that such a big company would have so many problems with customer service and websites. I will likely not buy a Yamaha again because of this. Do better Yamaha, seriously.

After 20 years owning 4 yamaha motorcycles I gave up on them. They are hurting the reliability reputation of japanese bikes, and refuse to recall defective parts.

This turned out to be a casting defect, and Yamaha replaced the whole entire engine free of cost and out of warranty.2021 195s with 100 hours and a burned out supercharger. They don’t make them like they used to. ?

After what happened at Loretta Lynn's amateur race this year! I will never purchase any Yamaha products or motorcycles ever again! And will make sure to get the word out on how they treated Brennan Schofield on claiming Haiden Deegan's Factory Star Yamaha! Yamaha pressured a 17 year old kid not to claim the bike! Donnie Luce told him they would help him out with 2 motors and possibly ride a pro bike to rescind the claim! So , Brennan rescinded the claim because of all the pressure from the Canadian dealership, Donnie Luce and Matt Walker bullied this kid! Now, the Yamaha Canadian dealership has lied and taken Brennan's motorcycles and dropped his sponsorship! Yamaha will never help this kid, failed the amateur racing, failed the motorcycle industry! Vital MX has Bobby Reagan on tape saying that Haiden's bike did have some pro parts on it and he didn't want anyone to find out where Star was buying their engine parts from! You guys caught with a $40 to $50,000 bike! And you all know, you didn't want it claimed!

2020 yxz1000r ss machine and safety system are sub par.. I was involved in a simple 5mpr rollover on sand. The roll cage completely collapsed under its weight of the machine. I'm lucky to be alive. The dealer told me that they have been seeing this alot with these machines and also they stated that it doesn't have a roll cage. It's just a roof rack. If I would have known that I could be crushed and potentially die I would have never bought this machine. End the end what should have been a affordable repair , now is more expensive than a new machine. The the roof rack crushed it pushed the main frame apart like a clay.I want everyone one the know how flimsy this machine is. Don't buy yamaha you possibly can die.

I would like them to release the lien on my title. It’s been 2 years and they keep sending me a paper copy of the lien release. According to both AZ and FL dmv I have to be in an AZ dmv with the bike to use that paper copy of the lien release. As I know live in FL that’s kind of heard to do, especially since my tags have expired and I can’t re-do the tags in FL without the title. I have called them multiple times over the two years and all I get is another paper copy instead of a electronic lien release. The supervisor I talked to on 12/15/21 said that he knew what I was talking about and went through all the information needed to start an investigation and it would be 2-3 business days to complete. Called today 12/21/21 on the fifth business day and the supervisor I talked to “Kim” said that no investigation was submitted and would be happy to start one. At this point I would really like the electronic lien release done on my title so I can use my motorcycle. I will never deal with Yamaha again, this has been so bad I plan on selling my bike as soon as I can finally get my title so I don’t even have to deal with them ever again.

Called and talked to 5 different reps who all gave me a different answer with how they handle calls from insurance companies. No manager is ever available for an escalated call, leaving my claim completely unresolved. Incompetent and rude as hell. Not to mention, when you wait 30 minutes for a manager just to have the call drop. Disgusting service and reps who have no idea what they’re doing.

In July 2021 me and my buddy bought 2 Yamaha motorcycles from the same dealership and the same day, we were offered to finance the bikes with no money down, we accepted the offer and all the salesperson said that it was being financed through Yamaha, after we purchased the bikes our credit scores been going down every month i was at the mid 700’s, today I’m at 681. I tried calling Yamaha and my dealership but they were both no help, they kept saying that they cannot do anything about it, i did a little bit of research and i saw that a credit utilization must be below 30% my credit utilization with Yamahs’s credit card is 80%, keep in mind I don’t have other debts besides the bike and my mortgage and i pay both in full and especially for the Yamaha, my minimum payment is 248$ and i pay 500$ and never late to a payment because i have auto payment set up. I have never reviewed someone or filed a complaint against someone but my credit is very important to me i will not let anyone mess with it and i would like my issue resolved.
