They closed my accounts without ever notifying me. I had less than $2,000 in a small business account. They closed the account on 2/23. On 2/28 I was about to pay bills and luckily before I wrote any checks, I logged in to see my balance. The account was closed - ZERO balance. I was never contacted in any way. I called the branch and was only given a number to call. I called that number and was told to leave a message and they would get back to me within 2 business days. It's March 3rd - NOTHING! I have called the branch and that special number numerous times. Nobody from Union Bank has ever contacted me.

I hate to say this, because it's not my style to belittle people, but this bank has some of the stupidest people on this planet. How do these people ( Breeanna) even get out of bed in the morning.

I've never experienced such horrible customer service. Veronica, the branch manger, is not helpful or professional. There is a lack of competency and customer service at this branch. I highly recommend banking somewhere else.

I use there online banking to pay bills. There have been very few problems over several years. I also like their drive-through ATM.

I have been to this branch 3 times and each visit I had to wait outside for the next teller. Last visit, 2 customers walked out and I still wasn't allowed in with no customers inside. I was told drive up windows were being served.. there was only 1 car in the drive up window when I arrived. After walking away due to overheating, they still only had 1 customer in drive up. Clearly they don't know to prioritize multiple queues and customer service is meaningless to them!!!

I've been with this bank since 2006 and the service has been progressively worse. I came in to try to open an account for my sons and I was met at the door by a lady who was rude and didn't have any information as to if I needed an appointment of if I could just walk in. She kept saying she wasn't sure , but never made any attempts to find out anything.She just stood by the door with her keys. To make matters worse, I called customer service, they were apologetic enough and promised that I would receive a call from the branch so I could get my questions answered. When I finally received a call back they got my name wrong. I'm moved my accounts to Long Beach Credit Union.

Customer Service in title only, practice is more along the lines of customer disservice. If every experience you have with a bank as a non customer is upsetting it will remain after opening the account. Staff is rude and has an attitude.

This bank has given myself and my family nothing but headaches. We came in to cash one of my uncles check from work and they took forever to tell us they had to call the initial company that wrote it out. We made several calls to the property management company that issued the check since the teller told us to do so. It was already late in the day so the teller refused to call them herself. Them the next day we came in yet again to have the teller accuse my uncle of not having a signature that matches the one he initially signed on the back of his check. Finally, we cashed it but with all the attitudes and sly remarks, we will never come back.

Best bank ever. I have been a loyal customer since 1984. The staff make an effort to know you on a personal, but yet professional level. Best customer service!

Wow! Just came in and Ana, my teller was so kind and helpful. I like that she used my name. A lot of banks don't even acknowledge their customers but she addressed me by my name and I like that. Had that problem with a big known bank (won't mention names here) but I used to go there every week and they never used my name or even remembered who I am. She was so nice and answered my questions The place is clean and all dressed up for Halloween. I even got a candy ... yummy. Best UnionBank I've ever been to. Other branches I've been to like every week, they never address me by my name even though I've been going there for years. If you want a great place with the personal touch check out this place. Recommended.

I deposited a Bank of America check on union bank last Friday (June 30, 2017). But this union bank is still holding this check not available and is saying it will be available on July 12 even though Bank of America already transferred this money on Monday (July 3). This is how this kind of small union bank is making money by taking advantage of customer's checks. I will close my checking account of union bank after this. You better go to BIG BANK, such as Bank of America or Chase Bank.
