“This was a great experience renting a moving truck through Penske and picking it up at a Home Depot location! I made the reservation online through the Penske website a few days in advance. The base price was very competitive for a 17 foot truck, and the cost for mileage wasn't a big deal since it was a local move, but I believe it was competitive as well. The main thing I wanted to avoid were the long waits and terrible customer service that I had read about in the U-Haul reviews. Well, this Penske location came through! My reservation was for 9am and there was no wait. The Home Depot customer service desk is where you pick up the rental. There's a small amount of paperwork, then they walk you outside to check the truck for damage before you leave. They got me in and out quickly with good customer service. Upon returning the truck, I brought the keys inside and they walked out and checked for damage and gas levels before signing off. Everything went very smoothly!”
