“The last time I went to donate, Alberto was very helpful and polite. As a customer myself, I know sometimes customers can be very rude for no reason, and the employees get punished for it, which is very unfair. Thomas was very helpful as well. I hope on my next visit I get to be welcomed by Alberto and Thomas.”

3220 E Anaheim St Unit 3240, Long Beach“Excellent customer service Matt and the cashier were absolutely accommodating and friendly about the whole thing. Compassionate accommodating and efficient. Didn’t have a chance to browse through the store but everything look organized throughout the store. Also their mission is very impactful as well.”
“I have to say going there is an adventure unto itself to go in there on Friday afternoons and throw blows with the old ladies who are trying to get the deals first is an amazing amazing feat of self discipline, it would be easy to punch one of those old ladies in the jaw just for looking at you the way they do looking at you the way they do, it's downright disrespectful and I say left- left- combination- right -right -duck- and then make your way to the cash register for your discount ,it's wonderful and I recommend it!!?????”
“Very friendly, helpful and great customer service. Really great finds and good prices. Lots to choose from and good variety and quality. Also, if you have something to donate. This is the best place in Long Beach. Keep going back because each time there is something new.”
“Very well organized, quaint and up to date store. A lot of in style selection starting at $5! They had beautiful hand dyed upcycled section as well which were reasonably priced ($10-20). Beautiful dish-ware and antique decor. I felt clean and safe coming inside. Will return!”
“Timeless thrift shop with talented friends staff is an experience for all ages gender and something for anyone! It’s like a dream museum of gifts to both give and receive -it is the circle of love. The staff create an order and masterful design collections. Every holiday brings new visions to past treasures. Collect donate and happy moments delight”
“If you're looking for some very nice thrift this is the place to go!They have a great blend of different decades and everything is nice quality.I found an amazing pair of shoes but they were too large by a size.Their pricing is completely fair.I'm adding to my list of mystery stop at thrift shops!”
“First off the place had Very fair prices, the elderly man working there was super kind and understanding. Had lots of varieties when it came to items and clothing. I will be back!”

5235 2nd St, Long Beach“Like an upscale boutique. High quality merchandise. Clothing like new. Vintage best quality full wood furniture and other quality antiques. A lot of books and DVDs too.”
“Love the owner and personalized service she provided. I bought a beautiful purse handcrafted from local artist, a blouse, dressy shoes and earrings. The vibe was so good in store and other shoppers friendly and helpful. Will return again and again!”
“I have to say this because is the truth. This shop is like none other. The employees are friendly, they talk to everyone and they like to make you feel appreciated. The merchandise is tops and the prices , spectacular! They have sales every day. You can get 2 huge plastic bags full of brand, semi used and new clothes for less then 50.00.
So if you are in town visiting or on vacation, stop by and see it for your self.
Compare to other thrift shops in the surrounding areas "OUT OF THE CLOSET TAKES THE GRAMMY".....”
“Julie was such a pleasure! I loved walking in here and seeing how organized it is. The store is small but has a great variety. I appreciate that the clothes/books are just one set price. That allows me to just shop and browse the clothes with pleasure knowing the price. The selection varies but it is still a cute shop to add to your thrifting day. Cheaper than goodwill and I love to support a local business. They have beauty supplies, jewelry, kitchen supplies, clothing, paintings, books. Lovey little shop and you ring the bell once you are ready. Love that aspect because so I get to shop with ease. Also loved the student discount and the care that was put into wrapping up my mug! It was my first time here and I would gladly come back.”
“A bit of everything. Lots of women’s clothes and dishware. Good organization. Lady working the counter was super friendly. Decently priced items. Ended up finding a handbag at a great price. Would come back again!”
“I LOVE the Assistance League of Huntington Beach and they have the best Thrift Shop in town!!! It is run by amazing women who are all volunteering to make a difference in our community! The prices are a lot less than any of the other Thrift Shops around and they have such wonderful quality merchandise! I love that when I donate my used clothing or housewares to them or shop there, I am giving back to my very own community! They have so many amazing philanthropic programs like Operation School Bell that provides school clothes for those in need, scholarships for veterans, nurses, police cadets, or junior life guards, teacher grants, and even delivering teddy bears to local hospitals! They are a true treasure in our community!”
“Wonderful Thrift Shop with all kinds of very reasonable finds. Clothing to toys and knick knacks and even some jewelry and more. I believe the ladies are volunteers and they're always helpful and pleasant. You won't go out empty-handed.”
“Had a great experience. Never shopped in a pawn shop before but the guy who helped me was amazing and answered all my questions and was fair at pricing. Would definitely recommend this place.”
“My favorite thrift store!!! I just recently went there for the 4th time and it just has always been amazing finds :) dude and the music is always really good! PRICES ARE THE BEST. like it’s REAL thrift store prices.”

18595 Main St, Huntington Beach“Largest ACS Discovery Shop I've visited. Well stocked, friendly volunteers that acknowledged customers upon entry. Conversation about jewelry with volunteer was inspiring. Take a peek!”
“Been shopping here for 11 years and have always been treated with kindness and respect. Love the prices and the random rare stuff that can be found. I joined the assistance league ( organization that runs this non profit store) right before Covid because the organizations mission to help the community and the members passion really inspired me. "White women" that work here tirelessly although they no longer live in the community really inspired me. I have read some of the few reviews that claim racism and yet never once have observed this type of service. The prices are the lowest of any thrift store in the city.”
“Came in on a whim when I came across the stores instagram page. Was greeted by the owner as soon as I entered and she was willing and eager to answer any questions I had. I came in on a sale day and found great deals! This store isn't overpriced like most thrift stores now which is great to see. They have a great selection, which the owner let me know she hand picks with strict guidelines to make for the best purchase and experience for all who come in! It's great to see a small business that takes care of their customers and with great prices for everyone! Be sure to come in and find some gems!”
“I like the weekends because they have live music and in addition to going shopping you can dance and enjoy the snacks they sell there and because you have a beer”
“This thrift was very cute! There was a really cool theme going with all the furniture and clothes that was very pleasant. Prices were very reasonable, and the staff was very nice. It was a bit hot inside, and a little cramped, but it was definitely still very pleasant”
“This thrift store is great! Great prices and good stuff! The only thing that really brings it down is that some of the volunteers are old, insensitive, grumpy ladies and don't keep in mind the mission of the assistance league, they need to remember what the assistance league for 80 years is about helping! I would recommend keeping the rude Old Ladies in the back if they can't be nice to people, and keeping all the rest of the great volunteers in the front. Also the no stroller policy is very upsetting to new parents shopping for a deal as you drink or walk here only to have to leave because you have a baby, besides all that I love coming here.”
“Good quiet atmosphere, they also sell food apart from the stalls that there are and they also sell micheladas and regular ones, a very pleasant time is had, a good dance, entrance fee 3 dollars”
10AM - 4:45PM
2025 W 1st St, Santa Ana“It’s a thrift store. Not especially clean or well lit. Employees not entirely thrilled to be at work, but certainly not rude. Best damn prices of ANY of thrift stores around!”

8739 Artesia Blvd, Bellflower“I love this place, there is furniture at a very good price and good quality. I visit frequently and always buy something. The employees are very attentive and help you so that you leave satisfied.”
“I love this place. I love that they are all volunteers and all the money they make goes to charity unlike most thrift stores. All of the ladies are super friendly and sweet. I donate lots of stuff to this place as well as shop for my kids clothes.”
“The Eli Home is amazing. I've only purchased clothes but it's generally always in good condition and at reasonable prices. I see that they have a lot of furniture that seems to be in great condition - I haven't had the need to purchase any but I'm sure when I do need some, I'll stop by The Eli Home first.”
“Was told about this place from my cousin when she was visiting. My older sister and I went here for the first time back in January or February of 2024 and loved it. Some of my most favorite outfits that my daughter has worn were the ones I got from here. They definitely have great prices on not just the clothing but the books as well. I haven't bought anything other than clothes and books here yet, but I might stop by again soon to see what else they have (possibly a larger play yard if they have one).”
