I rarely go to Home Depot I only shop there if I really have to. Anyways, just like the other reviews about the useless workers this one is no different. So about 6 months ago, we bought their Ortho Home Defense pest control spray. The wand that came with it suddenly stopped spraying for whatever reason. My mom and I decided to make what we thought would be a quick trip to this Home Depot, in hopes of exchanging the faulty spray wand for one that worked. So we carry the pest control spray canister to the return desk so they can look at it and test it out if need be. I explain the problem about the spray wand to the female employee. I also let her know that we only bought it about 6 months ago and it suddenly stopped spraying. She looked at me with confusion and she just said "well what do you want us to do about it??" I politely asked her if we could maybe exchange for a new spray wand. She tells me she doesn't know what she can do for us but maybe someone in the gardening department can help us out. So we go to the gardening section and we talk to a female cashier there. I again explain the problem with the spray wand. I told the cashier the female employee at the return desk couldn't help us but said someone in the gardening department could. The cashier asks me who we talked to and I gave her a description. She then pages someone at the return desk and tells us to go back there and speak to a male employee instead. So we make our way back to the return desk and we locate the male employee. He asks us a few questions and he was at least a tad bit more helpful than the female employee we first talked to. In the end, we did get a new spray wand, but they wasted a lot of our time. What we thought was going to be a quick trip to this Home Depot turned into almost 45 minutes of bouncing back-and-forth throughout the store. Like other reviews on here I too noticed the same thing about the employees. They are unknowledgeable and are reluctant to assist you. Instead of actually offering help, they push you onto other departments. Ridiculous. Perhaps more customer service training is to be had huh?!

Man oh man after going full time maintenance to part time having to run a kitchen I think I have to change my favorite place on earth from Home Depot to Costco,Sam's and smart&final but after today now I know. Came to have a single key cut and they have the cool new self help kiosk. All they do is entry keys o car or padlock. I had to walk the entire department and nothing. I kept walking the rest of the store and asked (5) I said five people to help and all they told me was there should be someone over there. Then I hear five calls for help in that department. Uhhhhg I've already walked the whole store fore almost a half hour and only seen three employees and they all sent me back to an empty end cap. Why would they not show all employees how to use the machine? Heck I used to do it until they started putting lock codes on them. Not to mention the last two times the keys didn't work. So unfortunately my one happy place sucks. Just go to a locksmith for a key and a plumbing store for what you need. Obviously they no longer train their employees to know all hardware stuff and most the time they don't even know the department they are working in. It's cheaper in gas time and effort to go to a small Mom and pop shop where people still know what they are doing Rather than going to a large corporation or everybody just pushes you off the next department where there is no one at and even when you find them they don't know anything.

The Home Depot! Everything you need for home improvement can be found here. And other things you need. I wanted to grab some boxes for moving and found some other things I've been needing. I found AA batteries, which I've been wanting for some toys. And then I grabbed some items for laundry; Woolite (a lifesaver for anyone who wears black or dark colors!), and laundry beads (they make my clothes smell soooooooo dang good!). I was able to get all the things I wanted and needed. :)

3 months ago the Cypress store got a new manager, most of the old faces are gone, replaced with new faces, most employees are willing to help you, some are not, they'll blow you off by walking away, but that's not why I gave this store such a low rating, The made a big change in the music format playing throughout the store, they replaced easy listening music with LOUD hard rock and heavy metal, For shoppers trying to think or plan out their project, it's almost impossible.. Don't get me wrong, I love Rock like most people do, but it's NOT the right place for it, it's downright irritating!.. I shop at many other Home Depot stores and this is the ONLY store playing heavy metal.. Cypress Home Depot needs an immediate Managerial change!

Home Depot is the spot for all your home improvement adventures. They've got everything from tools to building stuff – perfect for DIY champs or the pros. The store is pretty well laid out, and the staff is solid if you need a hand. You'll find top-notch brands, so you know you're getting quality gear. And if you're into gardening, their outdoor section is like a playground with plants, tools, and all kinds of outdoor goodies. What's cool is they offer workshops and tutorials. So, if you're diving into a project and need some know-how, they've got your back. Plus, you can rent tools and gear, which is handy for one-time jobs or bigger projects.Sure, Home Depot is massive, and you might get lost in there, but they've got good signs to keep you on track. And the prices are competitive with lots of deals rolling in, making it a solid choice for those on a budget. In a nutshell, Home Depot's your home improvement HQ – tons of stuff, helpful folks, and all the extras you need for a successful project.

I love this store except the paint department. There's a guy that works the counter that knows absolutely nothing. One time he was pretending to help me and just walked away and started helping other customers, never came back. He knows nothing about paint and his favorite answer is "Yeah, I don't know". If it weren't for this department I'd give 5 stars.
