We got a set of 4 Michelin tires in the morning. One of them was flat by the afternoon. We had to tow our car here, but they wanted us to pay for the towing.. Just go to a professional tire center folks.

On Aug 20th, Hurricane Hilary closed to California, around 17:20, and an employee stood up near Air Compressors. He was V.
He would help another customer, so he was waiting for a customer. Still, he had a spare time, so I asked him about an air lamp turned on very often, and it was possible to repair a tire. He asked me to put air or not. So I replied I would. After my reply, he started to operate an Air Compressors. I talked him that I could do it by myself. However, he told me that I could wait in my car. I felt thank to him, so I use my Umbrella to him. That my action was very good for me. He checked up Tires one by one, and then he diagnosed about each Tire. The fourth one was Bad. It didn't have enough grooves.
Tomorrow, on the 21st, I will be here to change two tires there.
During that time, I will make a share that I can write his real name or not.

I love Costco bc they have good products for great value but you should think twice before going to Tire center. They literally make you wait half a day without giving you any kind of update. I had to get my tire repaired (mail got in) but it shouldn't take 3 hours to do that. Wouldnt recommend it. Save your time. Go somewhere else.

I have an SUV that was a hand-me-down from my mother after she upgraded to a brand new Lexus. Brought this SUV in for a tire rotation and to have one of the tire pressure sensors checked out and possibly replaced (the yellow "!" light went on). I had paperwork showing the tires were bought from Costco in 2014 when my mother owned it, with a warranty of 90k miles. The clerk informed me that the warranty is not transferable but they will do a rotation and check/replace any tire pressure sensors if need be (in which case they'll charged me for it).I was cool with that, so I went ahead and left them the keys. This was on a weekday morning 10:10am.Five and a half hours later I finally I got the call back. According to them my tires were too old and had some wear, so they wouldn't do the rotation or a sensor check. The only thing they would do is install new tires if I buy a new set. I declined and took my car back, with nothing done to it.Part of me understands when company policy instructs workers to try to upsell customers to a new tire purchase rather than doing maintenance under certain circumstances. Increase the revenue when the opportunity arises...I get that. And going in I was aware of that chance of them denying my requested service since I wasn't the original buyer. What I did take issue with is that it took them FIVE & A HALF HOURS before they ruled on not doing any of the service in their work order. Granted this place gets very busy and when I arrived at opening I was already sixth in line. However would it have been too much for an employee to do a brief visual check of the vehicle's tires right after check-in, just to make sure it was suitable for the actual service later in the day??? This I'm guessing takes probably five minutes, no longer than a typical bathroom break, and likely wouldn't disrupt their current work rhythm much. They could've done this and notified me within the hour and I would have no problem with their decision whatsoever. As an aside it also sucks when tires that specifies 90k mile warranty only last a fraction of that amount. Between my mother and I this SUV experiences very minimal usage. Those tires didn't see more than 26k miles before being turned away for its age and "wear". This is more of a criticism of the tire manufacturer Michelin than Costco.Needless to say this was a bit of a letdown. Eventually I'll have to buy new tires for this SUV in the long term (whether this is an immediate need, or if I can get thousands more miles out of the current set remains to be seen...I'll definitely get a second opinion on that). And when that happens I'll definitely shop around. Unlike most of products that I buy from Costco they are not a sure lock on this category. From a consumer standpoint Tires are a headache! I wish the day would come where we'll finally have hovercrafts or Star Wars-esque Land Speeders. That would rock.

Caught a nail in my tire. Flat flat flat. 5+year old Michelins with only 26k miles. Had to buy 4 new ones. I would never go on a Saturday but it happened Friday so I had no choice. In at 9:15 out at 12:15. Super pleasant and efficient tire experts. Always happy with the service at Costco

I ordered my tires through Costco website and arrived the next day at my local Costco. I had to setup appointment through another website and the next available appointment was 10 days away. I couldn't wait that long so I did a walk-in instead. Car was ready in about 4 hours. Tire Center staff was friendly and helpful.

Just a data point. If you replace the TPMS during a new tire change, you’ll pay for the tire and TPMS sensor installation separately. No point waiting to change the TPMS at next tire change to save in installation cost. Just surprised as every other tire places in California just include it in their price. :( so expect to pay about $150 for installation labor if you need tires and TPMS

I went to Costco Tire Center Cypress around 0950 and was attended by front desk person Jonathan. I told him my tire had a strong leaking air at passenger rear area around 1 am and luckily I was able to reached home without accident. I just want to ask do I need yo replaced 4 tires with that kind of leak. The answer was you have to wait 2 hrs and we will let you know. Others wait the whole day he said but because I have a long line in this counter you have to wait because you never told me you want to replace the 4 tire? I thought you only wanted a repair. I told him that is why I’m here because I need to know. Rudely he said I have a long line and you need to wait for 2 hrs for that answer. So I went home and paid Uber at 10:30 am . And around 11:15 am they called me to say we have to change the 4 wheels and the tire was non-repairable. So I told him ok will do it, oh but the Michelin tire that is on sale is not available. You can have it in the next 4 days. So I went back to the shop and spoke to Supervisor Steve. I explained myself and my complaint. Your customer care failed this time because of the mishandling of customer/ client needs. You can’t just throw me away without a tire . You should know our need and told us initially that the Michelin discounted tire are not available in your shop and other options. That is why we came to your place in the first place it because we need a tire. And we need our vehicle to run and be on our feet again. He (Steve) apologized, handle the care by getting other tires and gave me a $15 voucher card for my Uber. In 20 minutes, the car is running already. I appreciate you standing out for a great customer care and working your way beyond. Thanks Supervisor Steve and the employee who work on my car. You help my day greatly. But help Jonathan to know what customers care means for Costco . I assume your huge company is also working on your numbers with regards to customer care.

Got my tires changed for my Camry 2009 SE. I'm a little suspicious that they charged me for installing new lug nuts, all 20 of them. Now, apparently after replacing all tires, the tire sensor pressure seems to be malfunctioning. And of course they would love to charge me to replace all 4 of them. What's going on here?
