This location has a nice selection of plants, I've gotten a philodendron congo from them that grew fine. I also got a fuzzy petiole philodendron from them a while back that was infested with thrips. I brought it home and after a few days you could see all of them crawling over the leaves. I'm glad I quarantined it! After a month of fighting the thrips to no avail, I returned the plant. I'm glad they have a lifetime return policy, but make sure you check the plants carefully (or quarantine them!) before you bring any home.

I have been here twice and I have grown to love this place. I love that they have smaller bags of soil ingredients to make my custom mix of aroid soil. They also have plenty of variety of plants and every plant I have gotten here has been healthy. I have been here for succulents, some variety of indoor plants, and Christmas wreaths and table decor. Everyone has also been very nice and helpful. And prices aren't too bad. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, they have a wide variety of plants and the plants are healthy and look happy. Enjoyed walking around and got assistance from the staff to locate the plants I was looking for. The houseplant varieties are good too. Picked few gourmet blend veggie seeds, looking forward to plant the seeds and see them grow. During checkout was told can return the plant anytime, will have to retain the receipt. While I don’t intend to, sure the plants will grow well in my place too.

This review is specifically for Brook, the sales person who helped me make my entire selection and purchase over the phone. I called in completely clueless as to what plants I would need specifically to attract hummingbirds to my patio and she had all the answers. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, extremely patient and pleasant even though I asked about a million questions. She helped me with selection, design arrangement , and delivery arrangement as well, all over the phone. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I can't imagine better service than what I received.

Summery Winds Nursery has an excellent selection of plants, and I've had very good luck with the flowers, herbs, and tomato plants that I've brought home and planted in my garden. There is easy parking. The staff is helpful and I like their rewards program. I usually hold my rewards until I get 10% or 20% off and then stock up. The staff will load heavy items like soil and bark into your car. I can purchase bark and soil for cheaper at Home Depot, but I like the convenience and ease of shopping at Summer Winds. House plants are not my thing, but they have a great selection of house plants as well.

We stopped here on Sat morning and bought three outdoor plants. It’s relatively cheap than the other one nearby but the quality is in par. The stuff are friendly and the cat is adorable. Highly recommend this nursery place.

Every trip to SummerWinds reminds me how much I love SummerWinds. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff that you can actually find and interact with. Beautiful plants with a great selection. Top quality soils and equipment. I called them up when I couldn't find the rose I wanted at my local branch, and they did the calling around to their other stores to find it for me. It's my gardening nirvana.

Great nursery that has an impressive variety of different plants, ie...5 different kinds of mint, 15 + kinds of hot peppers. Price was okay for the selection.

Late review ~ 4/27/23 Before I drove here, I called the nursery to see if they had any ladybugs in stock. I noticed that aphids were accumulating on the rose bushes near my classroom. It was my lucky day, they had a fresh stock of ladybugs that just came in. I was told they came out of hibernation. Who knew?! So I drive there just to get some ladybugs, but I ended up walking around and checking out the pottery (not pictured) and other plants. I found the wisteria and some ground cover that's in my radar to purchase in the near future. The nursery is clean and well stocked. The employees are very nice and helpful. I even found the plant pots I wanted from Southern California. The nursery sells them too!

This was my first lifetime visit, and I was pretty unhappy with how I was spoken to by two people, who were apparently staffers. One was an older man who said hello to me in an odd way - I literally thought I was being hit on or trolled by a customer as his tone of voice was unduly forward, and he had no sign of being an employee (no badge, apron, marked shirt or lanyard). Later on he did swoop over to mansplain needlessly and aggressively that the plant genus I was inquiring about came in "numerous varieties", as if he were scolding me or correcting some egregiously wrong claim I had made. So, still not sure, but either he is the manager/owner or a really aggressive rando. And then I went to Yamagamis and was courteously helped by a staffer who spoke to me as an equal and provided helpful and expert advice. So just be advised that summerwinds sells plants that come in "numerous varieties" in case you're the kind of plant shopper who doesn't know that and needs and wants to be lectured on it. 1 star for customer service, 4 starts for plants, I'm being generous.

This nursery is all about love for plants! From the cheerful orange and yellow watering cans hanging from the ceiling to the dramatic and moody displays everywhere, this place definitely helps to reduce stress. The plants on sale are healthy and very affordable as are the items of decor and growth boosters. I bought a tiny pot of shamrock which looked really lush and a very pretty Pink Panther. The staff is friendly and well-informed. I have to mention the wall of whimsical employee art on display which makes the nursery stand out from other cookie-cutter ones. I definitely see myself visiting this rainbow of a place regularly!
