“Howard's Shows is the best! I took my 2 year old in to have his feet measured. He started crying immediately, but the wonderful clerk was very sweet to him and calmed him down quickly. She was very knowledgeable and made sure the shoes were a proper fit. The store is very, very clean and extremely well stocked. I was impressed. All the employees working were professional and welcoming. The prices were extremely reasonable for great shoes with a professional fitting. It's so hard to find a kids shoe store, and they now have a lifetime customer in me! Thank you, Howard's Shoes!”

“Amazing store. You walk in and they are friendly and helpful, do a full scan, run test, sole test, etc all free of charge, let you try on whatever you want with expert guidance, and are super helpful on finding products without being pushy.One saleswoman, Genesis, was particularly amazing. I needed new road-running shoes, and she took me through all the tests, was unbelievably friendly and professional, suggested the shoes I would need and what might be better or worse for me, and pointed out various things about my running style, feet, etc. All super fast and super fun. She then helped me try on all the different shoes she suggested (she can carry five+ boxes at once... wow), and was just the right amount of helpful, stepping away when I needed time to try them out, and coming back (almost psychically) when I wanted advice or had questions. I ended up getting shoes and soles and would easily pay more than what I did for them. I even bought the store membership (I never do this) because of how clearly Genesis made it out to be helpful to me.Overall, wonderful store with a great philosophy, and absolutely one of the best salespeople I've talked to (Genesis). I went on a run afterwards with my new shoes and my half-marathon time went down by a staggering 40 minutes from 2:36 to 1:58.”

This place has an amazing selection of boards, tracks, wheels, etc, but more importantly is run by people who *know* skateboarding, are patient in offering advice and just really nice to deal with (even to people who know nothing about skateboarding). “An old school business done right. Owners are great people and very friendly. Have the best selection of boots and hats in the area.Bought a bull hide hat a few years back and after a long and hot summer it lost its shape and brought it in to get reshaped. They didn’t charge me (unexpected) since I bought it from them. And did a great job at shaping and cleaning up the hat. Looks brand new. Owner takes prides in his business and work.10/10 recommend them for any of your western or work needs.”

“Such a great boutique! Whenever I visit Palo Alto, Cassis is top of the list of places to go. Wonderful, helpful staff and great clothes. “Wish we had come here first! Beck's offers footwear that is both good for your feet and good-looking. What really distinguishes Beck's, however, are the patient and experienced staff. I came to Beck's with my mother, who has suffered from terrible foot pain, recently underwent surgery, and needed shoes to wear with her new custom orthotics. Freddy, our sales consultant, measured my mother's feet, discussed her experiences with her, offered multiple options for her try on, and carefully observed her walk. He showed us the right off-the-shelf insert for her and talked to her about the benefits of rotating inserts. At no point did he pressure her and he was highly respectful of her own experiences while offering his expert observations. We left after more than an hour with several pairs of shoes (at a great price), every one of which is more comfortable for her than any pair that she current owns. This visit to Beck's will help my mom to keep walking! I also got two casual pairs for myself and will be back for work-appropriate shoes.”

Jessica is so knowledgeable, personable, helpful and patient. She is also bilingual. Her friendly and kind personality makes it very easy to work with. I'm am very I decisive so it takes me a long time to decide on a shoe. Jessica lets me ponder and checks back with me. She's great at suggesting and is not pushy. There was another gentleman who was also very helpful but I'm so sorry I did not get his name.”

“I was blown away by how awesome these guys are! I came in for a zipper fix on a jacket and they were so kind, efficient, and crazy quick. Plus the jacket was as good as new afterward and exactly what I needed; the shop is also very lovely and easily accessible. I will bring my shoes for repair here and only here from now on (plus other knickknacks like the zipper hopefully), and HIGHLY recommend that you do the same!”
“I was SO lucky enough to get in touch with Alice within this store for the last pair of shoes for my wedding! She was so accommodating, so sweet, and super FAST! She saved the day!!! I waited last minute and realized there was one size left within the whole company and called her right away and she placed the order to me within minutes! “My favorite store to shop for Pants, shirts, wallets, Stanley Coffee mug. They also have some odd items such as a spoon, fork & knife contraption that is very useful when you need one if you didn’t get any utensils with your food order at some fast food places.

“I came across this store by chance and was intrigued by the name because my mother has wide feet and has some trouble finding shoes that fit her comfortably. However, the reason I went into the store was because I have been recovering from a fractured ankle and foot. I was in a cast for 6 weeks and then a walking boot for another month. My doctor finally gave me the ok to slowly start transitioning out of the boot. I was having trouble with all of my shoes I have because my foot was very swollen and by the end of the day made walking very painful. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and attended to right away. Mary the owner was extremely helpful. She asked me some questions and also told me I had to be honest with her so she could do her best to find the right shoes for me. I was there for about an hour and tried on about 6 different types of shoes. I finally chose a pair of Drew's and let me tell you I could immediately feel the difference. No doubt these shoes have helped me recover faster and I am almost walking normally again. The variety, value, and quality of shoes in this store is tremendous. I will definitely be back for more shoes and the excellent service!”

But when I wear it outside for few times, I found it is too big. I called Mark and Mark just said brought it back we will take care of you. When I arrived, Mark have already prepared the invoice and few smaller sizes for me to try on. No question asked, exchange was so smooth, this definitely is the best customer experience I have even had in any store!”
