I had a mortgage with them and all of the sudden they doubled my monthly payment! They forced me into escrow even though I was making insurance and tax payments separately. They decided to force their insurance on me which was the highest available of course. While in the process of refinancing with them I got a foreclosure letter out of the blue! I lost my house and truly HATE them.

Worst customer service EVER! I have my mortgage with them on a home I recently built. THEY under accrued the taxes during the second year and then increased my mortgage payment by almost 50% to "catch me up" over the next 9 months. I made no less than 5 calls requesting this be spread out over 18 or 24 months and kept being told I would hear back. Never did. I know it is a different division but I have moved my banking services to Chase just on principle....they are terrible!

We bought a house via PNC as a lender. I had a wonderful experience with Sanchez Juan, Groze Gerlie as loan officers. Excellent, quick, hassle-free service and respectful team! Best people I have ever seen in mortgage business. PNC is lucky to have them!

PNC "dropped" my automatic payment info after years of auto payments and when the mortgage wasn't paid charged numerous late fees. NO COMMUNICATION/NOTIFICATION whatsoever demonstrates 0 customer service interest.

My experience with PNC Mortgage has been terrible. I went to their web site to look for a payoff statement and wasn't able to find one. So I called customer service and was told I could request the statement but it had to mailed or FAXED (for an extra $20). There was no option for it to be sent electronically. On my 6/11 call I went ahead and requested the payoff statement and was told it would arrive in 7-10 business days. It is now past the the 10th day and no statement. In the meantime, interest is still accruing. Had I been able to generate the statement online i would have paid the balance over 2 weeks ago and would still be charged interest. I can't wait to get rid of this mortgage so i can close the checking account I had to open with them 7 years ago just so I could pay my mortgage electronically. I am an excellent customer who has never had a late payment and now I want nothing to do with this second-rate bank who has antiquated technology. Good Riddance PNC. You are terrible. I would not recommend them to anyone and wish I could give them zero stars.

If I could, I would give them zero stars! Very horrible company! Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this company. They make you bend over backwards and in the end they screw you over!!
