I was appalled by the disrespectful customer service. Many workers seem to act like customers are "employees of the employees." Some workers seem to act like they're doing customers a favor. Some workers seemed hostile/threatening. Managers typically require workers to wear Proper ID Nametags...it promotes responsible work and accountability. Maybe they could hire a manager with more respect for the members.

The YMCA staff here is amazing. However, I feel obliged to let my fellow gym-goers know that this Y is on the smaller side. Particularly during swim lesson hours, families come in droves making locker rooms, shower stalls, parking, and machines harder to come by. Overall, it has what you need - could be worse, could be better!

I liked this center last year for kids swim class. Their instructors were really well organized. But suddenly this fall there's been a change in management and it's a mess. For example they tell you the kids can only advance after establishing stamina but in a 40 minute class the kids barely swim for 10 minutes, and that's often with a kickboard, and with half the lane blocked off for no apparent reason. I don't see how they're helping the kids work towards the next level. It's just really disorganized and teachers don't know how to parallelize the class. They also have substitutes often who has to take extra time to learn the kids names and then explain new rules. I won't be coming back here for kids swim class.

They have some good facilities here, and a very good indoor pool. Only issue is that it gets a bit crowded sometimes depending on the time of day.

Irresponsible staffs, there is not coordination for doing any activities in between them. Faced the issue multiple times and still. they are tell sorry (whoever is on desk that day). Even if you go with or without appointments the case is same. With appointment if they will tell staff shortage , without any appointment they will tell "You can come like this you need appointment". Does not suggest this place for anyone.

Just started going to the YMCA. This one is in Cupertino, and is imo the best, compared with the SJ, Mountain View, and even Palo Alto west locations. The gym has lots of great equipment, both cardio and anaerobic. There are two power lifting stations for those who got work to do on the olympic bar. However, by far the best PERK at the Northwest YMCA is the pool. Super clean, space for lap swimmers (please mind the etiquette of either splitting the lane, or swimming in counter clockwise fashion) and a separate section for kids/kids classes. The memberships are quite affordable, and you can go to any of the YMCA-SV locations. Highly recommended to anyone who is getting started or returning to the fitness journey.

Great place and my mom made a lot of great friends here which makes her look forward to exercise each day. The place is on a quiet street, and parking is pretty easy.

We absolutely love our Thursday evening swim lessons. My twins are 5 and have a ball in their level 3 class. They initially started with Fabi and now are with geo. They are learning, progressing and love to be in the water. We enjoy seeing Fabi as the program coordinator! I do wish the showers were more spacious. It’s challenging to bathe twins without me getting wet! It’s so nice to have the extended kids clubs hours which allows me to work out close to home after work. We would also like more rec swim hours.I appreciate the early morning hours & 7a classes which allows to work out after night shifts. I’m particularly enjoying the Sunday am spin class! The flexibility with the hours, classes and open gym are so helpful and conducive to my exercise routine and in turn my mental health!

The Northwest YMCA staff has been extremely helpful when registering for swim classes. The staff follows up with answers and get us through the many questions we might have.
