These days Marina Food in Cupertino is the best place for Asian groceries. They usually have the best prices, and the inventory is on the fresher side as they get a lot of business. This is a good second stop when you happen to be at the nearby Target. Lots of great snacks and drinks for reasonable prices - the Ito En bottled teas are often 3 for $5, and great prices for shrimp chips, french cookies, fish snacks, loacker quadratinis, etc. Parking lot is big and feels the least crowded compared to other places. Glad they got rid of the space devoted to pottery and random non-food item that used to be there many years ago.

The quality of everything here is so bad!!! I needed huyết for the pot of bun bo hue I made at home and a few stores didn't have it so we ended up here. Husband went in while I was waiting in the car with the kids and he sent me a picture of the containers to show me how small they were so I told him to get 3 of them since they were small. Came home and as soon as I took them out of the bag, I knew these were bad. I couldn't tell from the picture but they had cut the cooked huyết into random chunks with lots of bubbles. I boiled them in a pot of hot water and tasted it and they were precooked them in some season water that tasted really bad!!! We didn't end up using any of it. My husband told me I hated this place before and was surprised I was ok with going here today. Apparently it was so bad, I blocked it out of my memory! Never again.

It's a decent Chinese grocery store! Location is nice, with lots of restaurants around it.

Solid and decent selection of Asian food items, dishware, and household goods that are reasonably priced mostly. Make sure to look carefully when buying produce and fresh food as some look about to spoil. Always check expiration dates as several sales items were either past or nearing their sell by date.

good food and decent prices but most of the workers there have a questionable/rude attitude and it made me feel very unwelcomed but besides that the rest is ok..

Their product are average and price is somewhat reasonable. But be careful with their fresh food quality. Make sure you look carefully before buying. And always look for expiration date.Their food court is expensive, most people use coupons from Marina store to purchase.

I'd give this store zero points if I could. All dead, bloated and stinky fish in the many so-called *LIVE* tanks. So many swarms of flies! Filthy meat and fish department. Very unsanitary and dirty outside, too. The health department should shut them down.

Double check your receipt before leaving the store, so overcharging won't happen to you! Shopped several grocery items there last Sunday evening. When I got home to unload groceries, found out that I was charged for two items I didn't buy. I bought 8 items but being charged for 10. Called the store next day several times but no answers so left a detailed message so they are aware of this case, I asked them to credit back two wrongly charged items. Haven't heard a word back nor seen credit. Be aware of this type of business!

This review is solely for the hot food section. Everytime we get food there, breakfast or rice plate, the food is always spot on. As for the service, I would say you might have a better experience if you can speak Mandarin, but I think as long as you know exactly what you want and tell that to the ladies there, you should have a pretty good experience. I don't speak a word of Mandarin but I learned to pronounce fan tuan just so I could go buy them. Their fan tuan is fire!! I just love the sticky rice texture and how well it goes with the filling.

If anyone ever comes here and encounter this gentalman at the register, avoid him at all cost. He is very rude and an ass to customers. First, when i put the basket on the belt, he started yelling at me take everything out. After i took everything out, i gave him the basket and he started yelling i don't want to touch it. WTF, i'm not sure if he is afraid of catching people germs or afraid of getting sick. Then, he started throwing all my produce to the other gentalman to put it the bag. thank god none of the veggies are bruise or else we would have a problem. Lastly, when i gave him cash to pay for my items, he threw my change at me and all the coins dropped everywhere. I don't know what his problem or if he is a racist to non chinese people, but i'm surprise that the owner would let this kind of behaver in a work place. Avoid him at all cost.

Cashiers make there own hours, came in on Sunday and they're supposed to close at 9, but was told I couldn't go in since the cashier was already closed way before 9 pm.

I have mixed feelings about this grocery store. When my friend and I refer to this store we call it a "She". This is because we women tend to be indecisive and can never decide on things, and the person who owns this store has perfectly displayed that by buying almost everything. The items are cramped and small, it's almost impossible to fit 2 shopping carts side by side at any given time. There's always stuff in boxes nearby that needs to be stocked. If you plan on going on a quick grocery trip please don't come here because whoa it's overwhelming. So Yelp 2 stars "It could've been better" Pros: They have a huge variety of possible hard to find items. Cons: They have a huge variety of items that are a little hard to find.

Big Chinese supermarket. They have a big cooked food area inside. It is a bit chaotic so hard to find stuff but they have a lot of stuff

Marina Food is absolutely awesome! I think this might be one of the top best Asian supermarkets in the bay area! The food is awesome! Their vegetables are absolutely great, they have stuff that Asians don't usually eat, such as leeks. They have a really huge variety of vegetables there. We used to also go there for their seafood and their meat. Very fun place to go. Great childhood experiences there. I also really enjoy the variety of snacks there, such as the crunchy noodles. I think they made a remodeling, because it doesn't seem as bad as it used to be. Also, their checkout machine is updated. It seems like ever since the early 2020s they have updated their checkout machines. The last time I went there before 2023 was probably about 2016 and their checkout machines were totally different. Thankfully, they are not like lions supermarket where they have a bar next to the checkout machine. I love the hot deli items. I will say, Marina Food is basically 99 Ranch market, but a smaller chain.
