Bought this Halo Guitar ? around 2010-2011Wanted to get my Tremolo bridge locked to use with my DAW but was not able to take the bridge out.Was super frustrated so I gave Halo Guitars a call. They were able to take me in as an appointment. They helped me loosen and extract the bridge honoring their Limited Lifetime Warranty.I highly recommend Halo Guitars and really do value their customer service. Thank you Jeff for your professionalism and patience.

Neck pickup broke on my custom guitar I ordered. Pickup broke away from the baseplate. Was told I'm under warranty and they would send a replacement and pay for it to be installed.I've been patient and understanding but they decided to ghost me anyway. 5 months and no responses to any of the messages I've sent inquiring about an update. Only sent 3 messages over the 5 month period.The guitar is multiscale and was routed to fit their specific custom sized pickups. I ended up buying a completely different set of pickups and had the guitar routed to fit them because it's been long enough for it to be insane to assume that they actually have plans to send a replacement.Last guitar I'll be buying from them.

My son broke a string, they kindly immediately replaced it. The person who attended me explained they make custom guitars and showed me some of their jobs, he also enlightened me about the process. We'll be coming back for my son's birthday gift! Absolutely kindest and honest place and person ever in America. Thanks so much!

Halo specializes in custom designed electric guitars and basses. Check out their online configuration tool, it is impressive!As a new guitar player, I wanted my first electric guitar to be special, but couldn't afford a top of the line production model let alone a full custom guitar.Halo regularly produces small volume semi-production builds at a great price. Priced at a significant discount to their custom guitars, you get top notch components, near custom design (say maybe half a dozen or a dozen in total produced), and great attention to detail. Compared to other options, I feel like I got a great guitar, unique in design, and with high quality components (Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups no less!).I've been playing my Halo Covenant for almost one year now. It's an LP style 6 string with a classical guitar head stock, not the standard Gibson LP style or 6 in-line pegs head stock that is typical on electric guitars.This made for a design I hadn't seen before and I absolutely love it! The guitar has played very well for me and the construction has been perfect.As a first time electric guitar owner, I had a few questions and concerns about set-up and the way the humbuckers were seated. Since I live close by, they took care of it without issue.I imagine if I had taken it to another luthier, they could have made the simple adjustments I asked for easily.Kudos to Jeff Lee (owner) and Brandon Benedict (luthier and production manager) for the great job they do at Halo. I appreciate the time they have spent with me at their shop as well as over email answering my newbie guitar questions.I recommend Halo guitars as a small custom guitar business that cares about the products they deliver to their customers.

Nicest guy ever! We took my son's guitar in to fix a string that had snapped. He fixed it right there on the spot. Also gave us a referral for a music instructor. So nice and helpful. We will be back!

i have now bought my 4th used halo guitar and i get more impressed every time 3 early models with the name stenciled on neck and a 2014 reaper custom . i absolutely love each one they all sound incredable and play great. unless you ended up a fluke.you will not go wrong with a halo guitar i have not yet. and would love to purchase another model when i can afford one so thanks halo for a great product. and have a long and profitable future.

I've been wanting to buy an electric guitar but since times are tight, I put it on the backburner. Came across Halo in the San Jose Merc and thought I'd check them out. Their showroom is pretty solid. The guitars are heavily tatted up, very metal, sculpted with some awesome details. They have names like Reaper and Morbus. However I was much more in the market for something simpler. I ended up buying a red Halo strat replica along with an amp, bag, strings, chords, and picks for under 200. Really an amazing deal. The guitar is beautiful and plays sweet. On top of it all, Jeff and Alvin were very helpful and knowledgeable. I noticed a repair room in the back of the showroom. I would definitely trust them to do a custom job for me. I consider finding Halo an awesome stroke of fate. I love my guitar.
